1. Likely because of the large number of media reports about West Virginians
outright declaring that they refuse to vote for Obama because of his skin color.

it was an attack on West Virginia.

26. Logic isn't your strong point, is it?
If you want to attack racists, attack racists. But you didn't do that. You attacked the entire state, and in a really scummy way.

But I understand - Clinton is going to win big there, and the only way you can accept that is to believe that they're all racist assholes. You simply can't accept the fact that half the party supports her and that she's still very popular among democrats. Instead, you have to turn all her supporters into evil caricatures.

30. And apparently reading comprehension isn't yours...
...the "really scummy" racists are voting today..and they are voting in one particular place..what's hard to understand...

Half the party does NOT support her which is why she has lost the nomination.

The only reason she will win today is because the racists assholes she has aligned herself with, and courted the votes of, will give her a big win...

The fact that you are unable/unwilling to see the truth for what it is speaks volumes about YOUR levels of logical thinking not mine...

34. yes, half the party DOES support her
it goes back and forth depending the polls, and how you measure. But taken as a whole, it's half the party - and if it's 49%? Does that make it smart to alienate them?

Now back to your logic -

Yes, there are racists in West Virginia. There are racists in every state. Homophobes, sexists and cat-haters, too. But you attacked the state, not the racists IN that state. That's just scummy.

36. Nope...wrong...I attacked the racist assholes in WV...the ones HRC has been courting...
BIG difference...

Um...HRC is behind in contests won, pledged delegates, super delegates and votes....if HALF the party was behind her they would be tied...

Dang that logic....

10. I have to blame Clinton. She started talking about her "white" voters, more or less giving them
permission to vote against the black candidate simply because he's black. It's a sad day in our history when a Democratic candidate for the highest office in the land aspires to that crap.

11. listening to BBC this morning
and hearing person after person being interviewed saying they wouldn't vote for a black man. There was one fellow (out of 5 or so interviewed), getting his hair cut so he looked nice for HRC's visit, that said in a very heavy WV accent that he would absolutely vote for Obama if he were the candidate. All the others kept saying they would never vote for a black man ... never say never.

17. Explain a big loss and scare SDs into falling in line behind Obama...
who wants to be seen as a racist which is what the Clinton supporters will be labeled after WV and Kentucky go overwhelmingly for her. It's all part of the plan.

SDs will not want to be seen as one of them 'racists' who won't support Obama ONLY because he's black.

40. As an Obama supporter, I agree.
We're talking about this here, but I have no doubt that this sudden media flurry of racism anecdotes comes from the Obama campaign (and with the blessing of the DNC at this point, I suppose).

It's probably a necessary strategy, but it's not a favorite of mine.

I do think that we should be talking about the role of racism in this election, but to have so much blame heaped upon WV is not fair.
