Obama should be going all out in WV and the remaining primaries than pretending McSame will be their
nominee. He should show respect for the primaries and at least ask for their votes.

Cheney will replace McSame anyway.

1. Isn't he going to be campaigning there today? Is there anything
he can do people won't criticize him for?

3. "Shows some respect?"
That's pretty funny! The Clintons only respect their own doomed conquest to be the nominee, and the people who vote for them. I have been hearing about states that don't matter, caucuses that don't matter and voters that don't matter for months.

8. His duty now is to win the Presidency.
Kerry didn't campaign in every state that had a primary, did you post some threads about that? If so, I'd like to see them.

5. Indeed, a weak showing, and it will appear Obama turned his back
on these people. People in OH, PA, KY, etc. won't appreciate it either.

6. His plan is to defeat the "expectations"...
He doesn't plan on winning WV or KY. But if he can keep it from being a humongous blowout, it will be a victory of sorts.

10. Hillary skipped caucus states...

...and glossed over every state she thought she might lose. It was only when she started realizing that all those "little states" actually counted that she started campaigning in them.

Given the interviews I've seen with WV voters, there aren't a lot of minds there to be changed. I think Obama is playing the expectations game, as one other poster here noted. Why not? Hillary has been doing that all along.
