Can we all agree on ONE thing regardless of who wins the nomination?
That we will work together to elect dems at every other level. I'm not saying the candidate for pres, as I know that's a sore subject with many on both sides.

But can we at least agree to work for the lower ticket dems. Regardless of who wins in November, we need a democratic congress.

So, can Hillary supporters and Obama supporters at least agree to do that?

I will.

1. Psst...while not "official" yet..."Who" equals Barack Obama.
The contest is over. Barack has won. Now, unfortunately there's a little more shrapnel than usual to clean up.

The sad thing is one of the dead bodies refuses to be buried. Hmmmm....

4. You never know what might happen.
Until the party officially declares it over, and until Hillary stops her attacks and gets behind Barack, Obama isn't the nominee.

7. You also "never know" what might happen after the convention. If THAT'S your standard...
... then why EVER support him? After all, as you say so eloquently, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN.

10. I'm not saying that. I'm saying that the supers could turn it back toward Clinton
Or Mich. and Fla. could count, considerably evening the odds.

Or he could make a huge gaffe.

Or she could find an effective attack angle.

I don't know. But this primary isn't done until she bows out.

3. Thank you. We need to ensure that, god forbid, McCain wins, we at least have
one branch of congress capable (and I use that term lightly) that can stand up to him.

8. Right on! Am checking out judges, everybody running, making sure they are on our side
before voting for them in our state's primary which would be Oregon, May 20th.
I think we will get another Democratic Senator after Senator Smith get's beaten this election. Am hoping we get a veto proof majority in November.
