Why don't I buy this. From what I have read they won't stop until they get 100%. Of course that won't happen.

1. There is no point in that unless they are also conceding.

5. Even people within her campaign are realizing it's over
I wouldn't be surprised if a week from now...she weren't in the race anymore. I'm thinking they'll take West Virginia in a beauty contest and drop out before the end of the week. She'll go out with a big (albeit meaningless) win.

2. OBAMA gets to 2209 Easily
The math is there for that infact the pct% of the vote she got is LESS than what she would need EVEN with OBAMA getting a zero for Michigan. WHat she wants is for MICHIGAN NOT to vote on the first ballot. (her presumption that the uncommitteds would vote for Obama)

3. did he say that he'll let Obama get the other half?
Sounds like they might be folding after a "moral victory" in West Virginia

4. It's called telling the McTruth.
They would accept 50% - as long as they could do it twice.

6. I heard it and he allowed the perception that he DID say that, but he really
didn't. He said the rules committee will decide. As I remember, he said they certainly might accept 50%. He was once tough weasel.

Clinton Rejects Latest Michigan Delegate Plan

By Marie Horrigan, CQ Staff Thu May 8, 1:29 PM ET

Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton on Thursday rejected a compromise plan to seat Michigan's delegates to the national convention that would give 69 delegates to Clinton and 59 to Barack Obama.
------------------
The Michigan Democratic Party had approved the plan and intended to submit it to the Democratic National Committee meeting on May 31. Michigan Democratic Party Chairman Mark Brewer said in a statement that the plan was a "good step toward a solution that unites Democrats and ensures that our state will not face a McCain presidency."

9. No, they won't.
Wolfson said on Chris Matthews' program on Thursday that they intend to go to the credentials committee and fight their battle there.

Wolfson said that they also want the popular vote to count in Michigan and Florida to count, so they could somehow make an argument later to the super delegates that she got more popular votes than Obama.

Wolfson also said that he wanted all of the Puerto Ricans' votes to count, as Matthews' jaw hit the floor.
Matthews said that Puerto Ricans can not vote in the general election, because they are not American citizens, so why would Wolfson want to count their votes in with the popular votes from the states where American citizens had voted.
Wolfson stammered, stuttered and finally said that the primary's popular vote total was important for Hillary to make her case that she should be the nominee.

Matthews was stunned.

Wolfson evidently didn't care if the popular vote total Hillary was going to talk about was composed of votes cast by American citizens or if she was going to count any vote cast by anyone anywhere.

It was the worst argument I have ever seen anyone make on tv about national politics - by a Democrat!!

Wolfson supposedly has been running around trying to get a book deal to sell his story about the Hillary campaign, according to Olbermann, who said he had "impeachable evidence" that it was true, even though Wolfson denied it while Olbermann was still on the air Friday night.
Olbermann reiterated that they believe the story is true.

10. Terry, go away and give us all a break from your stupidity.
These Clinton people are like dogs at our heels. I need a repellent. Maybe a anti-Clinton spray or something.
