CNN just said some of this threat information from a "few months ago"

This from CNN's justice corresponent, Kelli Arena appearing on Lou Dobb's show tonight.

This is just what Mayor Bloomberg said yesterday during his press conference, and it begs the question how real or imminent is the threat? Ridge has admitted they have no time frame.

Time frame? That would be from now until the election in November, and you can probably take that to the bank.

We don't know, but we have no alternative but to trust the Homeland Security Department--whose track record on issuing terrorism threats leaves something to be desired.

As in, these buildings that were allegedly scouted, the scouting took place before the attacks.

5. This really makes me angry

I am tired of these cynics playing politics with terrorism. God damn it, Bush & Co were asleep at the wheel and Osama murdered 3000 on a September morning and all these assholes think about is how they can manipulate votes out the public. Iraq had nothing to do with the attack (and you can't convince me they didn't know that because after all I did) and all these heightened terror alerts that have no tangible basis come on the heels of a PR setback for the junta.

Wolf, wolf, wolf!! Somebody replace that shepherd before he gets himself and a few of us sheep killed because no one will take him seriously.
