Super Delegate Vote for Sale - $20 million for my vote !!!!
Edited on Fri May-09-08 12:08 PM by GetTheRightVote
Just heard a news report on Headlines news concerning a Super Delegate who is has his vote for sale and will vote for the Candidate who pays him $20 million dollars.

What is this man thinking ??

And

What do you think about his actions ??

Another link, there are many following this report:

http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Democratic_party_super_delegate_says_his_vote_is_for_sale

Steven Ybarra of Sacramento is a Democratic party super-delegate and he says his vote at the Democratic National Convention is up for sale to the candidate who'll put $20 million into enrolling Mexican-American voters. When asked whether it was right to offer what is clearly a quid pro quo, he said "yeah, absolutely. People do it all the time."

1. That should be illegal.
If not, I find it very republican of him.

5. all for registering Mexican-Americans to vote BUT
his tactics are low. He's using them as a bargaining tool so that he can get rich. He should be stripped of his SD status.

6. I like what he has done
He isn't hiding his expectations behind closed doors he is outright laying them out and what he wants the money for weather he gets it or not would be good for the party. Not to mention he brings attention to his issue even if he doesn't get the cash.

One SD will not make the difference and a lot of the SD's are asking for something for their support.
