Who CARES which Democrats Obama did or didn't win?!
In 2008, Democrats voted and gave Obama the edge over Hillary. They may not all have been of a favored race, or income level, or age, or education level, but they were members of our party nonetheless, and should not be discounted.

The REAL question is which Democrats will vote Democratic in November, and which will say "I'll stay home/vote for McCain before I throw in with this black elitist muslim!"

And then remind me why this latter Democrat is the bedrock of the party again, when they stand for everything we're against?

1. Another race baiting post from an Obamian! Or troll?
The more of these I see the more likely I am of not voting for Obama.

2. Race bating? How?
After the many, many posts I have seen on this Internet claiming that Obama will never secure the "white working class" vote?

This is mild, compared to sludge at Hillaryis44.org. They don't mince words there...

Oooo, anhother threat.

:eyes:

If you really let something like that (like...what, actually?) influence a decision as important as this, good riddance.

4. You are the one that implied anyone that does not vote for
Obama is a racist. If that is not race baiting I don't know what is. It looks to me like about 90% of the race arguments on DU are either instigated by Obama supporters or trolls.

6. First of all, the LARGEST "race argument" was started by Hillary Clinton herself yesterday.
Most posts on race in the last two days have been in response to that. Remember? If "he can't win because working-class whites don't like him" isn't a race argument, I don't know what is.

Second of all, I didn't explicitly say that everyone who doesn't vote for Obama in November is a racist. But anyone who considers themselves the Dem yet doesn't vote for the Democratic Nominee in November DOES has some seriously explaining to do at a site called Democratic Underground. OUTSIDE of our site, many Dems do evidently think that "African Americans have betrayed Hillary and hijacked our party."

And these are the Dems that, yes, I wonder why we need in the first place.

7. Let me ask YOU a question. Since the policies of our two candidates are quite similar...
...why WOULDN'T some of the working-class, non-college educated Democrats of European-descent in this country vote for Barack Obama in November? We're talking about Dems who won't vote in November, not in the Primary. Why would they stay home and let McCain win--and why did Hillary feel it necessary to mention they were white?

I don't think they're madly in love with the Clintons at all. In the end, it really does come down to 3 issues: class divide, religion, and yes, race. Hillary acknowledges this, why won't you?

11. Hillary Clinton is not my candidate and never was. I think
she will say and do anything to get elected just like Bill.

12. She is also insulting the poeple who are voting for her......
by insinuating that their motivation is just voting against a black candidate and not just voting because of her.
