Rahm: It's Over
llinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel — who has spent the Democratic contest uncommitted — all but declares the race over during the New Yorker magazine’s conference:

“At this point, Barack is the presumptive nominee. Hillary can’t win, but something could happen that Barack could lose the nomination.”

When asked if he’s pushing for Clinton to drop out, the former Bill Clinton aide quickly moves on by saying, “Next question!” The Page

1. People speculated earlier that he'd be the one to end this
He has been between a rock and a hard place all year, but a lot of people said he might be able to be the power broker in the end. Sounds like he might be playing that role behind the scenes.

5. From a Hillary supporter, I agreed.
I have been supporting Hillary for a very long time. I guess I grew up during the Clinton years, so it's befitting that I possess such positive sentiment for the Clintons, regardless of how negatively people think of them.

However, it is time. I truly feel that for the sake of the Democratic Party, Hillary should bow out gracefully. I wish that she is currently trying to look for a graceful way to exit. This doesn't mean that I no longer support her, but it's time for all the Democrats to mend fences and come in union for the imminent General Election. The longer Hillary stays in the race, the deeper her name and Bill will be dragged into mud. Please Hillary, for the sake of the Democratic Party and/or for the sake of you, Bill, and Chelsea, please stop the race and put your support behind Obama.

It's deeply sad to write this, but it's the reality!

7. MOre from the article
""As much as her ending it will... ...how the loser ends it will determine the winner. How that story gets written will determine not only the winner's capacity to go on but also the person who didn't get the nomination.""
He knows the deal
