What about Ted Strickland as VP?
I'm not suggesting- I'm asking. Is Strickland a top contender as this link suggests?

http://blog.washingtonpost.com/thefix/2008/05/the_friday_line_veepstakes_1.html

All I know about the guy is that he was the one nodding repeatedly like an idiot behind Hillary as she went on her "shame on you, Barack Obama!" rant. Not the most auspicious beginning to a political partnership. But if he could bring Ohio into the Democratic fold then I might be willing to overlook that. Is Strickland qualified to be considered VP?

7. We could make the power of the bobblehead work for Obama ...
Imagine the power of a "shame on you John McCain!" press conference by Obama with Strickland head-bobbing like crazy in the background.

2. He's only been governor for 2 years though
Which could exacerbate the so-called inexperience problem. Although he was in Congress before that...anyone know what committees he served on in the House?

5. I've been saying that for over a month now, that's a great way to bridge the Obama/Clinton divide
I also like how he ran my government if I might add.
:)

6. The guy who "delivered" Ohio to Hillary??
I don't think so. DLC to the core. Can't trust him.

8. He's doing a good job here as Gov, but he's a Clinton backer.
So that's not happening.
