at this point in time, you all have a clean slate. Unless you try to be racially divisive, you'll stay off my list.

let's move from this point on towards supporting the nominee.

4. I did this on Wednesday, and I'm glad I did
I am glad to see the grieving and healing process has begun. There are still some Hillary supporters who are in denial about her situation. But they will eventually come around, and in the end, we will unite behind our nominee.

7. Several of the best arguments for an "ignore list" haven't been around lately.
I've never had anyone on ignore, but several of the folks
who would have easily gained membership in my ignore list
(had I had one) have been AWOL for the last few days, and
I've noticed that the "tone" around here is getting better.

Pretty soon, we'll either have unity or tombstones, I think.

9. I actually emptied my list a few days ago...
...only to see the WORST offenders eruptively shit the bed on this board. I saw things posted that made my jaw drop open.

I alerted on a couple of 'em, and then gave up.

Back to ignore for 'em. FOR-ever.

I don't have the time OR the inclination to sit around and listen to maniacs scream in my ear. There's an election to be won.

12. I agree. I was just offering my version of an olive branch
if the branch is not accepted, that's not my fault.

13. I did that too the day after IN and NC primaries
I don't want to ignore people anymore-I want to see everybody's opinion. One time I did put two people back on because they were being cruel, but I took them off again a few minutes later. I want so much for all of us to come together and all just be Dems again, but I know that it will take time for a lot of people to be OK. I remember how bad it felt for me when Howard Dean lost to John Kerry and the MSM used that stupid "scream speech" to destroy his candidacy. I was so mad for a while I said I wouldn't vote for John Kerry for President-ever. After a good long time, I was able to let it go and support Kerry, although I never really was very enthusiastic about him. I did vote for him, so I know others who love and support their candidate can come together with their opponent's candidate to defeat the Republicans. And the people who can't and/or won't will do what they need to do for themselves to be satisfied with the situation. For the most part, the primary has been decided and it's over. I just wish a lot of the hatred on both sides could stop. It's not helping anybody except for Repubs.

14. You might have spoken too early...holding out "olive branch" to raging bulls
Edited on Fri May-09-08 07:47 PM by KoKo01
who thought it was a :Red Flag" that said "CHARGE!!!"

Did you think that your post wouldn't have been seen as "snarky?" or ..maybe..condescending to many, here? Jumping the gun...to do what you did? You were maybe "ahead" of where folks were and not being either that I mention? An honest mistake for many of us who read so much and follow so much we are often taken as Cassandra's who are too ahead...and need to be "offed."

I learned that Clinton won Indiana in a 14 point wipe out and I am not ever ever ever going to ignore anyone again.
