check out the right-wing language describing "Reagan Democrats"...as if Reagan's been in the WH the past 8 years..

Someone needs to tell Larry to take his meds...

2. It amazes me that people are still talking about "Reagan Democrats"
What a bunch of pop political science nonsense. It's 2008 people. The 80's are over.

P.S. The Cosby Show was cancelled.

3. No-quarter is a ridiculous sham of a site, and its owner
Larry Johnson, a laughing stock. While His44 is cringe-worthy enough, at least you can see that the supporters there, in the main, are actual supporters - fanatical in their support of their chosen candidate. At no-quarter there is little substance to indicate support of their supposed candidate, the vast majority of what gets published is blatantly anti-Obama. Much of the material mirrors what one might expect to fall out of the mouth of Sean Hannity, or see published on such 'reputable' sites as freeperville, or even worse, stormfront. If it is not yet registered as a hate-site with the organizations charged with tracking such places, I'm certain it very soon will be. Another blow to any credibility Mr Johnson once had.

Here's an interesting comparison. When you compare visitors to the following sites:
Democratic Underground
Daily Kos
Taylor Marsh
Hillary is 44
Noquarter

We find that the bottom 3 are literally at rock bottom - the very bottom of the chart. They attract a mere handful of interested visitors, and I would wager, actually share the same handful between the 3. Compare these with visitors here at DU, which leans Obama, and DailyKos, and their relevance is laughable. It is a telling reflection of actual performance in the primaries, and that Noquarter is on a par with His44, and BELOW Taylor Marsh (who does not have a fraction of the credibility Johnson once had) given his background experience, has got to be just downright embarrassing.

Still, Larry Johnson has no one to blame but himself. He has squandered what credibility he had in security circles and with the media, on an out-right hatred of a particular candidate. I'm pretty certain that given the opportunity of even a cursory glance at his site, the media and other key political figures would no longer touch him with a barge pole. If he has any intelligence left, he'll take down his site, give it a thorough clean up, and start again. However I won't hold my breath.

6. Good question.
If it is true, Obama may be able to keep the damage to a minimum because so few people remember that era. Obama clearly doesn't. And few people really know all that much about U.S. history. Or care.
