It's Going to Come Down to Lake County (Gary). The Bluest County in the State!
Lake had 114,743 votes in 2004, 61% for Kerry.

For comparison, Marion (Indianapolis) had 162,249 votes, 50.6% for Kerry.

Obama's currently down by 38,000.

Could he make it up in Lake County? It's possible, if there was big turnout.

:woohoo:

1. turnout will be key
It can happen. Either way, Sen Clinton is on pace to fall further behind in the delegate count considering NC. :toast:

Lake County is about 24% African American. It is conceivable.
That would be to my immeasurable shock if he won Indiana.

10. Just like Cleveland. Just like Philadelphia.
If I was a suspicious person, I'd expect that something may be going on, especially with Evan Bayh backing Hillary.

We'll see.

He's won the night already, but if he could win Indiana this race would end tonight.

19. You don't have to be suspicious. Elections are always stolen
in places like Lake County. Iirc, there was a massive purge of votes there for no apparent reason. There's already been stuff going on there. But it could be that whatever was tried, it won't be enough.

Considering he won Marion by 34, a 40 point win in Lake shouldn't be out of the question.

And that will get him the state!!

26. 2 reasons, they are on CT, unlike much of state & they probably hand huge turnout
They know there is a lot of pressure on them. They are probably overwhelmed actually.

If it's about 200K and they split 65-35 as in Marion county Obama could win!!!!

44. I don't think it will be that many, but if he wins it 70-30, and there are 110,000 votes,
he pulls it out in a squeaker.

Let's go Lake County election workers! Count all those votes!
