Does PASTORBATING lead to BLINDNESS or does BLINDNESS lead to PASTORBATING?
Now that the Corporate owned media has finished with another week long Pastorbating fest, the question remains; did the voting public see through it, or did they fall for it? Will voters in the remaining states fail to understand that the corporate owned media will do whatever is necessary to protect the interest of their corporate parents?

We will sure enough get some answers on this on Tuesday.

And so instead of discussing the result of the pastorbating frenzy, I'm gonna ask.......

WHY DID THE PRESSTITUTES PASTORBATE WITH SUCH ZEAL?

Do Journalists that presstitute themselves for a living look at their children and the future of this nation in the same way as normal people do, or are they forced to divorce themselves from being patriots in order to get their jobs done? Do they see the harm that their unpatriotic ways costs our nation, or do they really care? Do they justify their actions and words to themselves, or do they simply shut their eyes to their handy work?

DURING ELECTIONS--

One minute Corporate News corp. et al will positively portray one candidate, while dogging out his/her opponent(s). The supporters of the candidate who is being lifted by the corporate media at that moment will cheer and watch. They will praise and quote the news while they applaud their current "fairness". They are seduced and become giddy.

Meanwhile the supporters of the candidate(s) being assailed will curse, write and watch in pain or simply not watch the same media. These supporters see the evil manipulation right before their very eyes, and don't understand why it is not clear to all. They become angry, then doubtful, then cynical and disillusioned. But since the Corporate media doesn't piss everyone off at the same time, they keep just enough on board and satisfied. This is the real "balancing" act that they do to rationalize that they are about being "fair & balanced". It is not that they ever tell or don't tell the the truth that is key, it is that they keep enough of us believing that they are on our side, for that time.

We are all guilty of buying into what they sell us time and time again. Whether Hillary supporters loved it when she was "inevitable" for an entire year, Obama supporters when the media cherished Obama during some of that same time, or even John Edwards in 2004 when he was held up as being able to talk owls out of a tree and encouraged to be selected as Vice President to John Kerry. Kucinich, Richardson and Biden supporters, whose candidates never even saw the light of day, know this best of all, as they have rarely or ever been pleased about anything that the media had to report.

In other words, we have all been through "it" to various degrees.

THE LESSON FOR US IF WE HAVEN'T ALREADY LEARNED IT, OR IF WE HAVE FORGOTTEN IT--

I had pretty much learned this lesson in 2000, 2002, and in 2004, but it appears, like many others, that I fell prey again this year. Believe me, these World Class manipulators understand exactly how to push our buttons, line us up one against the other for their own purpose, which has nothing to do with information, fairness, reason-ability, or patriotism, or any of that. How else can we explain a President Bush?

And so, what can we do? If sides is being played against the other, and the corporate media successfully retains the look of objectivity to at least enough of the viewers, aren't we really ALL being played? We really do need to acknowledge this fact, now....before the tide again turns, and those who are on the "outs" currently again find themselves back on the "in" side again; and vice versa.

I try not to watch a lot of cable news these days, because I simply cannot afford to be fooled time and time again. I see how they play one group against another, which is why they keep winning the battles and are indeed having a larger voice than they should as they meddle for full control of our Democracy.

I believe that it is all of our job to turn off the cable stations. Whether they are on our side this week versus being on the other side the next, we are enabling them to have power over us when and how they want it. Today it is Barack they are against, but tomorrow it will be Hillary once more. Once the General Elections start it will be in favor of McCain and against the Democrat. In other words, we cannot support these cable stations and believe that we are being informed; indeed we are only being manipulated, and never for the greater good, but rather for their corporate good.

CASE IN POINT--

I watch 5 minutes of CNN today; Wolf Blitzer's Sunday show. At a round table, there were 4 talking heads (Wolf, Donna Bash and her fiance John King, and Bill Schneider) actually attempting to sell the notion that Hillary "feels the pain" of the people because she is offering this Gas Tax Holiday. Now, they acknowledged that there wasn't an economist out there who was buying into the idea that this was a sound proposal, good for the economy or for the people who might "save" pennies for a very short period. They also admitted that this Holiday wouldn't be enacted. However, they, among themselves or through the memo from upstairs, had all decided that somehow pandering was a good thing to do, and that this helped with the "working class"....and that Barack was "out of touch" in not realizing this. They were suggesting that the "working class" are so dumb that they would interpret pandering as somehow the same as actually providing a real solution. They opined that Obama had a problem with not getting that. That this was "hurting him". Their logic and how this could pass for a sane rational for pandering amazed me. I understand that they were correct in assessing that some of the "working class" might be that myopic, but for the media to determine that politicians who failed to pander weren't "getting it", made me understand once and for all, that anytime wasted listening to these people on our television sets is gonna be the death of us.

LAUGHABLE MEDIA SELF EXAMINATION AND ITS PURPOSE--

And as always, certainly at some later date, once it no longer matters, the media will re-examine itself, and matter-of-factly admit what it has done....in hopes that we will believe that they recognize the errors in their ways.

Problem is that they will not pay a price, and they will not stop doing what they are doing in the future.

And so, I have decided that not again will they manipulate me. I have decided that I will no longer trust, watch or participate in encouraging Cable News. They are a danger to our democracy, and to think otherwise is to successfully be taken for a fool over and over and over again at our own collective detriment. I know, cause it happened to me over and over again.

19. It is unfortunate that I will now have to ignore you from this point on
But you are apparently becoming a part of the problem for me.

Like cable news, you hitched your sorry wagon to a place you understood would get more viewing than your own sorry rants. Desperatly piggy backing your non accomplishments to the earned accomplishments of others, like the free loader that you have turned out to be.

The advantages of putting you on "ignore" at time are great. One result is that I don't have to look at the idiotic picture that you have sullied my thread with for your own entertaining pleasure.

The fact is when you are "ignored", nothing that you post is visible, which renders you mute and moot. And so I encourage it to those paying attention at this time, because you haven't earned being given a voice, much like the Cable channels.

Goodbye!

but in the end, it says nothing.

Difference is that I didn't do it in Rodeodance's thread.

6. Pastorbation is a new thing for some of them.
It is a new neat thing they can do that makes them feel large and in charge. The novelty will wear off after they start to get sore or when their parents start to bang on the bathroom door.

If they don't slow down a bit they are gonna start to grow hair on their palms, however.

His judgment was made when Hillary was inevitable back in October of 2007. Guess he was tired of being on a losing team.

He is now a politician. I still respect him enough to disagree with his choice.....and I know that I fought many battles for this man, but I only trust myself when it comes to decision that I make that will affect my children.

The public need to be informed, and the public airwaves, are as abused as the public need to have trustworthy, verifiable elections.
