I'm so proud of Obama for not supporting the "gas tax holiday"
This is the man that will tell the country what we need to do to fix our problems.

His foundation will be his understanding what is good policy and what is bad policy. And he won't follow the crowd off the cliff, but will think things through, like he did on the Iraq War.

Yet again, Barack Obama is the only one showing good judgment.

Go Obama!

5. what is the number of the bill HRC introduced to implement her proposal?
Oh wait, there is no bill to implement her proposal because almost two weeks after proposing it and less than 3 weeks before the summer driving season her proposal is supposed to cover, she hasn't bothered to introduce anything.

Why? Because it was never intended as a serious proposal. It was empty election year rhetoric. Nothing more.

Prove me wrong.

6. Then why is he being honest about this boondoggle?
It would be way easier to just go along, hell double down on it, if 15 weeks is a good idea, make it a whole year! And put price controls in place while you're at it, so the price can't go back up, and start passing out chickens to everybody whose got a pot!

No, he's told the truth on this one, it's horse pucky.

7. Really?
That sounds like Hillary to me. She waited until McCain appeared to initially poll well on the issue, and then she was like.....ME TOO!

She's such a follower!

8. Hillary didn't support the gas tax holiday until she saw the poll numbers on it. ........
It polled well and Hillary supported it.

9. Hillary's pollster said it was a political winner...
That's why she chimed in with her "me too" after McCain proposed it.

10. Then why is he the only of the three candidate to go AGAINST the political pandering on this issue?

Your statement is exactly opposite with respect to the facts.

Hillary and McCain are pandering for votes.

Obama is telling the truth.

...and then you define it exactly the opposite.

Amazing.

13. You had a typo there.....is should have read Hillary instead of Obama.
Hillary is political weather vane. At the rate she spins she could power all the Latte machines in the US.

14. He should support a "gasbag holiday"
In fact, that would be a nice way to hit back at the other campaign and McCain at the same time.

16. Me too!
It takes a lot of guts. Besides, anyone who really follows this stuff knows the greedy oil companies will just raise prices to offset the tax cuts. Plus when the cost of gas goes down, demand goes up, and that raises the price again.
