The funds from the federal gas tax are used to pay for bridge repair and road construction on interstate highways.



In addition... up to 30,000 construction jobs lost.

In addition... increased consumption, driving up demand, driving up costs, and wiping out the "holiday" and making the prices HIGHER when the holiday ends.


What's that you say? She'll make up the lost funds by creating a windfall tax on oil companies? Well... then the oil companies will raise their prices to compensate for the lost profit.... and again... the benefit of the "holiday" is lost.
