1. Hillary doesn't think that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were enough
Edited on Thu May-01-08 07:44 PM by IndianaGreen
She wants to outdo General LeMay in "testicular" what-have-you.

For many, Bittergate is more important than mushroom clouds and radiation sickness.

3. A pass on "obliterate"? Because that isn't all she said. The part about Israel.........
.........being first nuked by Iran was omitted.

Obama didn't get skewered on "bitter". It's the rest of his words that sunk him - God, guns, and the rest.

She indicated that any ME country would be under our "umbrella of protection"

Iran is not going to be nuking anyone anytime soon. The question was ludicrous.

8. Because America loves war, and military might.
The hard-ons generated by her hawkish utterances are much more fun than, say, having to discuss ending a bloody, discouraging and unaffordable actual war, and bringing the troops home in what will smell suspiciously like defeat. This is an advantage she has over Obama, and she will use it again.

30. That's just run-of-the-mill American militarism.
No CinC ever takes military options off the table--even if he says he does. I'm no fan of such posturing, but I prefer it to eagerly-volunteered promises of obliteration (no matter how phony).

http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/05/01/mideast/iran.php

Iran has lodged a formal protest at the United Nations over comments by Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton that the United States would "totally obliterate" Iran if it attacked Israel with nuclear weapons, the state-run IRNA news agency reported Thursday

14. Iran wants to "obliterate" Israel, if your ok with that then you would understand her comments
and it isn't worth wasting time trying to educate the uneducable.

Obama's comments in their totality (not just the word bitter) echos marxism.

I know you hate her. I know you criticize every breath she takes, every word she utters to justify your venoum. But, in the real world, people who are not just spewing talking points, sees the response for what it is.

or in the UN. Tehran just submitted a protest letter to the UN Security Council over her 'obliteration' comments.

And when Bill signed the 1996 Communications Act it went all their way! Murdoch, Dubai, TATA, Gupta, Peter Paul, you name it and they have done it but not a word on the MSM about any of this!

27. Obama called Americans bitter when obviously our nation is holy and perfect.
There's nothing to be bitter about.

Meanwhile, Hillary talked about obliterating Iran. Who cares about that nation, right, we're Americans.

32. She doesn't.
She doesn't get a pass on that, or on the IWR, Patriot Act, Kyl/Lieberman, and many other deal-breaking votes and positions.

Neither does Obama get a pass.

Not on his hypocritical campaigning on "against the war from the beginning" while he repeatedly funded and supported the "stupid war" in Congress.

Not on his willingness to leave unilateral action in other nations on the table in his desire to pursue the "war on terror."

Not on his fondness for conservative republican agendas like merit pay and further privatization of public education, his admiration of Ronald Reagan, his criticism of "the excesses" of the 60s and 70s (read "liberals.")

Not on his willingness to allow homophobes, not only a place at the table, but a place on stage campaigning for him.

Not on his desire to leave private pharmaceutical and health insurance companies at the health care trough to corrupt policy.

NEITHER OF THEM GET A PASS.

Remember all the gushing and absolutely no scrutiny during the run-up to the Iraq War? It will be the same for an Iran War if either Hillary or McCain became president.
