Hillary is just plain dumb if she thinks her gas tax gimmick will make any real difference.
Worse yet, she thinks we are all dumb, especially the ones inclined to support her.

Three things we need to be talking about:

1.) improving collective transportation.
2.) improving gas and fossil fuel efficiency.
3.) get non-fossil fuel cars on the road as quickly as possible via an all encompassing "Apollo project" type of effort.

Our "man on the moon" should be an all non-fossil fuel vehicles on the roads.

2. Of course she doesn't think it will make a difference. It's called pandering!
And Obama needs to call her out on it and say what we've all been thinking: SHE'S A LIAR!

13. Did you see the ad the Hilding has out that uses this issue?
Paraphrasing: Hilding will save you all this money on gas. Obama says NO!

I know. standard political garbage, but she is beating this so-called issue for all its worth.

4. We all ought to stay home this summer and patronize our local
recreation spots. No driving, no flying. Of course Clinton is pandering. She figures we're all stupid and with a pissant drop in gas prices per gallon, we'll all go running out to spend money we don't have on something else.

5. An Apollo project? We're already in orbit.
We already have pure-electric vehicles on the road. We just need more production of them. Somebody needs to kick the ass of the auto-makers: they're not really opposed to fuel efficiency, they're just incredibly lazy and determined not to make any effort they don't have to for short term survival.

A good start would be to say that the US government will no longer buy fossil-fueled vehicles for its use. That'll get every car company that can think straight scrambling to provide battery-electric and fuel-cell vehicles for government purchases.

Then, start mandating a phase-out of production on fossil fuel vehicles, as well as a tax credit for people trading in their old ICE cars for EVs.

10. She just sell snake oil to those that don't know better than to buy it.
It's what the GOP does. It's becoming Hillary's trade mark as well.

one of her biggest supporters in the media lately!!

It will be hard to downplay the words of an acclaimed economist on an issue like this...

12. Hillary isn't dumb.
She knows the American people ...they are the dumb ones.

Once the idiots in this nation hear the words ..."gas tax holiday" ..they will sing up immediately.

Obama knows the American people will fall for it, but he will do the right thing anyway.
