Tire tracks on Wright's back...

Obama has run over him, backed up a few times and peeled out.

THANK GOD!

Obama '08.

What Wright did to Obama just strikes me as hateful, to be honest.

3. That he did.
I will be curious to see his reaction now. Somehow I don't think he'll STFU.

17. I don't agree
I think he's a good man despite being outspoken. I understand quite well why Obama has ditched him and respect that decision. I also think that part of the problem is that People in the media and in general are far too quick to project the nation's social ills onto Wright, just as they were his namesake in biblical times. I'm not going to condemn Wright as an individual when I was defending his right to hold and express his opinions last night.

In Wright's own words, he's a pastor, not a politician - and where I think he has gone wrong is to ignore the fact that the while politicians can be all things to all people, it is there job to represent all people in their constituency in order to build a consensus for changes in law that all will have to abide by. Wright feels himself answerable to God, which I respect. Obama is answerable to the people below him who elect him to represent their interests, while Wright has shown he's more of a talker than a listener.

However, that does not, in my mind, make someone an asshole. And even if you think he is, the fact remains that we need assholes in order to avoid becoming full of shit.

I fear the whole charade is to push African American voters away from Barack and into the waiting arms of Hillary and Wright.

Hmmmm...tricky.

9. Anderson Cooper will have is panel on tonight
asking, "Did Obama do enough"... and everyone will say no, and the game will continue...

and another tragedy will take place somewhere around the world
and more people will die in Iraq
and we'll go further into debt
and we'll have payed another few hundreds of millions to Blackwater

10. Last week. HELL, Sunday - He was BRILLIANT. BO-polar disorder?
BO-polar disorder: when suddenly things which just last week were unspeakably awful are now the BEST THING EVER, cause Obama said so. Like Ronald Reagan, and healthcare plans that leave people uninsured.

11. Cool. Can the media stop pastorbating now?
Some of us, Obama included, would like to talk about health care, the economy and the war in Iraq, among other things...

15. This story just became meat and potatoes, maybe a little port too.
They're going to follow Wright around like love-struck puppy dogs, looking for a reaction.

16. Yep, I still feel Wright had to say his piece but also wise for Obama to show his disaagreement with
some statements.
