This is a link to a blog and a picture of Rice with an unbelievably huge Arab Oil man. This admin is so in bed with big oil it is ludicrous.

I just think this is hilarious.

Condi believed early on that she was going to be a pianist and became a fairly accomplished one at that.

A Brahms specialist, for the record.

No small accomplishment. Brahms is formidable.

From reports, Condi checked out the way forward as a musician and had occasion to listen to many of her similarly-talented peers who also aspired to the concert stage and to her crushing despair, realized that while she was possessed of some talent, it would n ot be enough to compete in a field comprised of the young men and young women she heard, all of them vying for the same spot on the concert brochure.

So she quit.

She abandoned Brahms.

And in the absence of being admired for rare talent, she gravitated toward being feared for her political connections. Hence the Big Oil association and appointments, hence the Bush family power structure, etc.

She is a fiercely mediocre soul with undue influence and power.

17. With a guy that fat it's not enough to say "on top" - you have to specify which HEMISPHERE on top.

Obviously the usual approach from the Northern Hemisphere wouldn't work. I dunno. It may not be practical at all, but they do have some of the world's best engineers and biggest cranes over there.

word is at Stanford that many higher-ups there would NOT be pleased to have Dr. Rice return to a job at that university.

and higher.

IMO neither is rising as high as Condoleezza Rice's ego.

This thread did not attract the percentage of anti-Rice folks I had hoped, so I'll just speak for myself in saying that among the extremely long list of absolutely horrible staff & Cabinet picks Dubya has made, Condiliar is singular in her incompetence and arrogant disregard.
