We need to Win in November!!!
It matters less whether we win with Senator Clinton or Senator Obama, than that we beat Senator McCain. I'm surprised I have to point this out.

1. IMO, McCain will be pulled and replaced at their convention, prepare for a much stronger candidate.

3. I had been wondering about that very same thing
If McCain's ill health and age start to show noticeably toward the start of
the Republican convention, will they start to look for a body showing a few
more signs of life, or will they just do their best to "raise McCain?"

4. Who?
Rudy? Newt? Bob Dole? Rice? Ridge? Jeb???
They don't have a stronger candidate. They are intellectually bankrupt.

2. Well Snipergate Hillary won't bring it home for the Democrats. The percentage of Americans
who believe she is honest is in the thirties. Can you imagine that number after the Republicans are through with her?

6. I've got news for you....
If only "honest" candidates were elected, we wouldn't have a government.

Bottom line is that the republicans will do everything in their power to demolish either candidate. So there are two points to consider:
1) Everything they can say about Hillary is old news, it's been said. Any rehashing is just plain boring. It won't even keep the publics attention. Can you even imagine republicans getting all worked up over Whitewater, travelgate, etc. The public likes fresh new dirt and the republicans can manufacture a lot of it regarding Obama.
2) How will the candidates handle the attacks. Well, Hillary has already proven that she can handle anything that comes her way. She's been through one of the worst humilations of anyone and came out on top. Obama can't even handle the marshmallow attacks he gets from Hillary, how the hell will he handle the arsenal that the republicans will throw at him. His supporters whine over every little subtle criticism he gets and read racism in everything. What are they going to do when he is called Osama Obama (which is already happening) and when the racism is real and blatant.
3) I know I said two points...but I thought of another one. Debates. He's not good at debates...simple fact. If he has trouble debating Hillary, who basically agrees with him on most points, then how is he going to handle McCain, who is a pro. Next to Hillary, Obama looks like an equal despite his youth and lack of experience, because he's a man, and men are perceived as smarter and more capable than woman. Next to a man he'll look very inexperienced, he'll look like a boy. Hillary is an expert debater, she is a mature, experienced woman. In both cases there are are sexists or racists, so that's a wash.

8. I absolutely...
Adore Obama and I wish the world was the way he sees it...but it's not. If we want to win the election we have to draw brutally clear distinctions between republican and democrat. Our country is in a disaster after eight years of Bush, and McCain will be an extension of that. We CANNOT have a candidate who is saying that McCain is better than Bush, or that republicans have good ideas. We are in a very serious situation and this is not the time to try to get along. We don't want anyone to believe that it's "okay" to vote for a republican, they aren't so bad. We want them to know that a vote for McCain is a vote for evil and corruption.

9. again, will the American people fall for McInsane's BS
god, I hope not, the country and world are in a crisis. Remember whatever the US does, has an effect in the rest of world, and we are seeing that now, with the elevation of oil prices.
