The person capable of being the Greatest Uniter is YOU! Each and every one of us holds the key to unite our party. Our only trouble right now is most of the locks are frozen. I have ordered some lock anti freeze so as soon as it arrives, we can begin inserting our keys into the lock. It won't take a lot of effort to turn the lock, not in these horrible times in America.
The reminders are in the faces of the parents, children and other friends and relatives of the fallen Iraq soldiers, the wounded, the ones yet to be diagnosed with post traumatic stress syndrome. The reminders are also in the tears of the people who have been locked out of their homes by the banks. The evidence is in the yard signs advertising the homes for sale. You can look at the hands of the people in the grocery stores at the change they are holding to pay for their milk and their almost empty shopping carts for reminders. The food bank lines are reminders. The desperation is also apparent at the gas pumps. You have seen it, many of you have felt it in your own wallet.
The Greatest Uniter is the face of the Republican who enabled Bush and Cheney to devastate our country. The Greatest Uniter is the face of John McSame. Hurricane Katrina survivors I am sure will need no such reminder.
The Greatest Uniter is your support, your ability to acknowledge and remember the past seven long years. I have faith in the members of my Democratic Party. I believe the Republican Party and the MSM have underestimated the power of our party. We really don't need the reminders. We will unite and we will elect a Democratic President.
