Poll question: How possible is an Obama/Clinton ticket right now?
I wouldn't feel bad about this ticket at all. I know other Obama supporters would.

Now, with Hillary having such a big and loyal following in the so called "big states", what chance do you think she has of winding up as Obama's running mate?

5. Leaving the country? If she doesn't get the nomination, they're getting divorced.
That's my prediction, anyway.

I think she put up with his womanizing cuz she wanted to be president. If she can't be president, I think she'll cut his philandering ass loose.

10. Maybe they'll go to different countries then.
She'll find a country where she can be president, and he'll find one with a fresh supply of women.

(Bad camp movie of all time -- "Cannibal Women in the Avacado Jungle of Death," starring Bill Maher (I kid you not!) and Adrienne Barbeau!!! Bill Maher plays an Indiana Jones type who is hired to help a feminist professor find a tribe of Piranha Women in the Avacado Jungles of California. A HOOT, if you've never seen it!)

2. I think he will offer it to her and she will reject it because she is spiteful.
Edited on Wed Apr-23-08 09:19 PM by SoonerPride
If she can't be on top of the ticket she will turn down a VP offer.

I think he will offer her the spot as a concialitory gesture and she will say F.U. Obama.

28 years of Bush Clinton is enough. She does not belong on this ticket, or any other in the future.

7. She has closed the door to that option, imo
Obama is the new politics. She represents the old, set in their ways establishment. I don't have a clue who he might have on his list for V.P., but I don't think Hillary would be an acceptable candidate for all of those people who want Obama to change things.

23. If I wanted McCain to win the GE, I'd be pushing for it hard. All the media and Obama's supporters
and Sen. Clinton's supporters would realize that his message about change and new politics was a big lie.

It would be the equivalent of after he get's the nomination announcing he was really in favor of the Iraq invasion and occupation and announcing he plans to send in more troops. and to stay for 100 years. Would you feel bad about that?

I'm not in the least bit worried that it will happen though, because I'm convinced Obama is sincere about his desire for change and a new politics. He isn't bullshitting us.

31. Zilch! Zero! Nada! No Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton ticket.
When half the Clintonites tell a pollster they would rather vote for McCain or sit the election out than to vote for Obama, and after Hillary played the Osama 9/11 card, it is all over.

The Clintons are as corrupt as Juan and Evita Peron. We don't need them on the ticket.

32. bottom line...
...she and Bill cannot be trusted...she's already been the number 2 in the White House...she will try to undermine him from the inside to help McCain so she can run for 2012...i totally see them triangulating with the Repubs/McCain campaign behind the scenes with inside info...i pray to God Obama doesn't get trapped into that situation, he will NEVER be able to stop looking over his shoulder..and, who's gonna keep Bill in line...NO NO NO WAY!...they will destroy him from the inside while smiling in his face...

I'm sure that's a sentiment Hillary has piously voiced many times. Since she's holding this entire Party hostage, she should be dealt with on no friendly terms.
