Siphoning off McCain voters

Who will be able to get the most McCain voters to go Dem in the GE? Here's my take on the two candidates:

Obama: Blacks already go 90% or more for the Dem candidate. So no real gain there. He'll get younger voters, but younger voters tend not to vote as much as older people. Who am I missing?

Clinton: Will draw off a significant number of women voters. Could be a big issue. BUT: will blacks be upset at not having Obama and stay home?

1. Hillary would fire up the GOP's base and drive voters to him

Obama would draw off GOP voters, like Reagan did with the Dems

will siphon off his Indies...big time.

3. Yeah, Republicans are known for their liberality when in comes

to race.

5. Some repukes are hard corp bigots, they would never vote for a Dem

However there are many others that are not bigoted and would vote for Obama

4. Obama will generate a record black turnout

He'll get black voters to show up who have never voted or rarely vote. And he may win more like 92-93% of the black vote, rather than 90%, which can matter a lot in a closely divided state.
