The thing I love about the Clintons...
is that they win.

They fucking win.

When everybody counts them out, they win. When they're considered has-beens, they win. They just don't stop fucking winning. And boy, that pisses people off.

And I love that about them, too. They piss off all the right people.

I don't predict that Clinton will get the nomination. But I believe she will. Because they just fucking WIN!

2. Goodness: She was expected to WIN PA BIG.
No one was counting her out. BUT SHE LOST THE PRIMARIES. GAME OVER.

10 Delegates and 200K votes means he is still ahead by 160 delegates, and 500 + K votes.

And guess what the next big state is: NC.

He'll get them back again.

You could make a nice chunk of change if she's the winner you claim she is.

Barack Obama to be Democratic Presidential Nominee in 2008

Last Price: 81.4
What does this mean?

81.4 means the market predicts there is a 81.4%
chance that this event happens.

If you think it is more likely than this you should buy.
If you think it is less likely you should sell.

All markets trade between 0 ($0.0) and 100 ($10).

81.4 = $8.14

I think Hillary's Last Price was 16 or 17.

:)

104. I don't think I'll be upset. I'll just write-in Obama's name then leave the Democratic Party...
...to become an Independent and I'm taking 14 other Democrats in my group with me. We've decided this months ago.

Should Hillary win it won't be she, but McCain who will be president.

The Clintons will be annihilated by the GOP right-wing regarding the pending suit in California because of felonious tactics back in 2000.

The California supreme court is ready to set a trial date any day now.
http://www.hillaryproject.com/index.php?/en/story-details/what_hillary_clinton_and_the_media_are_hiding_from_the_voters/

The right-wing blogosphere is all fired about this "little known factoid". The media is curiously silent about it. Ever wonder why?

Hillary will be blown out of the water by the GOP/Fascist right-wing machine with OODLES of help by the American Propaganda-Press and Broadcast and McInsane will be the 44th President.

Then again, at least I can say, I never cast my vote for a warmongering DINO Dem who uses right-wing tactics against fellow Dems.

110. I fear you are correct
the "powers" have lulled her into a false sense of self and entitlement, she won't be prepared for what will hit her by the 527s and the media, McCain can stay above it (not by choice, just he is too stupid to get it) and the effects will still be felt - folks don't like her, they don't want the co-presidency that she offers and there is dirt that has yet to come out or that has been ignored. Watch mccain's VP choice, that is who they want to rule, ermm, I mean they want to hold the office.

131. Putting aside any new attacks against Clinton ...
.... she would have had a hard time winning in November if she had cleanly won the nomination, say back on Super Tuesday, but the methods she's used to this point, and the fact that her only path to the nomination is the superdelegates stealing the nomination for her, she's going to have an even harder time. Her only chance will be a McCain implosion, maybe if he physically assaults her at a debate.

She lost Iowa. She tied NH. She lost NV. She lost SC. She lost Jan. She lost Super Tuesday. She lost February. She lost March. She's lost more states, more delegates, and is still behind in the popular vote.

SHE LOST.

Again, I just gotta say, I hope she pays well.

She would do *anything* to win. I understand that's politics, but it still makes the bile rise. It's *why* they win, but it's a trait that I've always hated. I avoid people like that in my life whenever possible. I know it's a must for politicians and I know Obama isn't innocent in this regard either. However, I sincerely don't believe he would still be in the race if the tables were turned. On the plus side, should she secure the nomination, I am sure she won't let the GE slip away easily.

She knows she can't win in pledged delegates and her hopes lie in getting the SDs to choose her. This is within the rules but it's a bold strategy. I don't know that other candidates would be willing to risk the party infighting that would ensue.

Never count out the Clintons. They have an almost surreal ability to rise back up from the dead. They take a punch and get up stronger than ever.

If Hillary comes back to win the nomination, it'll be the best comeback story since Nixon (and her husband, of course).

I didn't want to know about Clinton's sex life. I don't think Larry Klayman and his Nazi-inspired Judicial Watch had any business at all in asking Clinton about his relationship with Lewinsky. I approve of his lie. It's NONE of our business.

Because they've been winning for a long time -- I guess that's a reason to love them, according to your calculation -- as long as you don't mind what they have to do to win.

And they've pissed off the Open Government Democrats for YEARS - you know, the part of the Democratic party that you think are the right people to piss off.

Your wing of the party wants BushInc protected into the next decade and you don't care how many lies Clintons' put up to make sure that happens.

61. I've been pissed for years by the Clintons
Edited on Wed Apr-23-08 08:49 AM by Armstead
So I'm not a very good barometer.

Their aggressive support for NAFTA and the whole GOP "free trade" thing, ya know..Plus their bungling of healthcare reform, deregulation of the media, privitization of public services...and their ongoing marital and financial soap opera....Oh yeah, and that little matter of helping Bush push for the Iraq War.

So she didn't have to do much work to keep me pissed off. But she's been working hard to alienate all of us "elitists" who don't agree with their conservativism. :)

Clinton is the ONLY Democrat who has won the Presidency in the past thirty years. And he had a knock-down, drag-out primary battle as well. But he won. And people know that, & they believe that Hillary Clinton has the same tenacity and determination to get a victory for Democrats.

60. The thing I detest about the Clintons is that they CHEAT and form UNHOLY ALLIANCES ...
because with The Clintons, it's not about America or The Democratic Party in general ... with The Clintons it's PURELY about THEM. I loathe cheaters. Yes, I despise low life, crotch kickers, whether it be in "cage matches" or "politics" - IMO The USA deserves FIGHTERS (Representatives) with INTEGRITY who play by the rules.

In other words, "Clintonian Integrity" is, IMO, a contradiction in terms.

Wake up America! This isn't a Vince Lombardi hype for ratings - this is the race for the very heart and soul of our Democratic Republic.

The House, the Senate, Al Gore. The party was nearly dead with young voters at the end of Bill's two turns because the Clinton-era party ignored them completely. There was no thought about the future health of the party beyond Bill's two terms. They win but they win like parasites. They feed off the party's long term health for their own short term gain.

And Bill never one a majority of the vote.
