but I'm really suspicious overkill may have made it counterproductive.

I have never really been swayed very much by political advertising. To me it needs to be interesting or funny in itself, and while I love listening to Obama, the ads are interesting the first time around, and then not so much.

Its like when a person gets called 6 times a day, really who likes that? Especially when you are watching some good TV. I hate commercials.

Anyway, I think that if he wants to spend a ton of money on advertising, it needs to be something different from what is currently being done.

I hate seeing political ads over and over again. I guess research must show that it works, or they wouldn't have done it.

2. You have to keep in mind, though, that a whole raftload of "low info" voters

are walking into that voting booth armed only with the knowledge that the Clinton name is there, and that's good enough for them. Obama has to fight the name brand, and the familiarity.
