Unlike Romney and the others, when Hillary drops out, I don't think she can afford to wait to give her endorsement to Obama.

She will need to do it immediately. Because it would have already been done had she shown some class and dropped out after Super Tuesday. Its kinda late in the game now.

1. Frankly, I hope the supers do it for her.
That'd be funnier.

3. Not as funny as Howard Dean holding her down, waving a crucifix in her face, and shouting
"The power of Christ compels you! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" :D

2. Why should she have dropped out after Super Tuesday??
She was ahead at that time.

I'm very confused with some of the Obama supporters here. I guess she should have dropped out after Iowa, too. I guess it could go both ways - Obama should have dropped out after losing New Hampshire, or right before Super Tuesday like Edwards.

5. Nope. She was fine on Super Tuesday. She should have dropped out after Ohio/Texas failed
to put her back on track.

10. No doubt the inevitable Oliver Stone biopic
Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 01:55 PM by galaxy21
will depict this as a huge fall from grace for Hillary. Greek tragedy and all. Compelte with the inevitable conspiracy theory.

PS: I want Glenn Close as Hillary.

13. That's a very tasteless comment.
Please don't joke about cyanide tablets, open elevator shafts, or that spinning propellor in The Raiders of the Lost Ark.

We don't need to go there.

15. She could just
say "Excuse me, I need to use the rest room." And then not come back. That's worked for me several times.

18. Well, no matter when the nominee is decided
we will need to fast-track reconciliation so we can present a unified front against McCain as soon possible.

22. Well, when she gives her concession speech she could strongly
endorse him in that same speech - it might go a long way to convince her supporters that they shouldn't run off and vote for McCain, but instead act like real democrats and stand up for the Democratic nominee.

But, OTOH, that would just be a speech, so it's not important, anyway.
