Candidates differed on Class Action Act, Energy Bill of 2005
Obama voted with the Republicans, Clinton with the Democrats. Please explain. Also: can anyone point me to a list of votes of where they disagree?

1. My understanding of the energy bill
was that it was a mixed bag, some good provisions and some bad. Do you have a link to the specific vote? I can take a more detailed look then.

2. I don't know what the vote totals were, but It was a net tax increase
and included alternative fuel incentives; the latter in particular was Obama's rationale for voting for it.

At least that is what I heard. I don't know about the Class Action Act.
