1. Such arrogance. Thinks she's better than everyone else. Elitist, in fact.

9. Not a great vote, but unfortunately over half of all Democratic Senators voted for it
Edited on Tue Apr-15-08 08:50 PM by stahbrett
It was classic pork barrel stuff, and the bill definitely was good for Illinois (and Senator Durbin and Obama voted for it). As president he will take a more nationwide view of things (at least I expect/hope he will).

If New York would have been a big beneficiary of the bill, I expect that Senator Clinton would have voted for it.

"Over half of the Democratic caucus in the Senate voted for the bill. Most of these yea votes came from senators whose states stood to benefit markedly from the subsidies"

10. I agree this clip is
quite old so who knows what she thinks now. But, from my observation of HRC she could have used a little cookie baking and tea. I am a woman who "surprise, surprise" became a mother in middle age (in my 40s). I can't imagine giving up work completely because it has been what I have done the longest, but I also bake cookies now way more than I ever did. Balance in life is a good thing and I think HRC needs more of it.
