has my respect. Same thing goes for West Point and the Air Force and Coast Guard academies. The last man or woman in the class is still probably squared away better than 99% of us.

And for the record, despite his conservative ideology, I really don't think McCain is an elitist. He can be ornery, stubborn, misguided, etc, but I think he is basically a decent enough person.
