2. Clark's gonna have to move to NYC
He spends so much time there! :)

I love Charlie Rangel. When he came down South, he said he didn't know how he'd be received, his being a "Yankee," but he said the people (the black folks) down here treated him like one of the gang. He loved it and we loved him.

4. Who couldn't love Charlie?
The guy's a world class charmer. I remember seeing parts of his Southern tour with Gert on C-Span, it was so great.

3. I truly wish I could be there.
Of course, Rangel is just a pawn for the "elect Hillary, maybe we don't want to win, Clark is a stalking horse" wing of the party.

:P

5. Clark/Rangel
would have been a kick-ass ticket IMO: stature, experience, decorated veterans, smart, I could go on and on. They are great together. Rangel really gave it up for the Clark man.

11. Back in the good ol' days...
When we used to talk about who would be Clark's running mate, I was always for Charlie. He's the best. Some thought he was a little too "long in the tooth" for the position, and maybe so. But I sure like his style. Says what he means and means what he says.

Welcome to DU!

9. There's a couple of straight shooters.
More honesty in those two than the whole GOP.
