John McCain is a War Monger
He doesn't understand that "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" is the "joke" of a war monger, just as "Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly?..." is the "joke" of a man with character issues. And we already know he needs anger management training.

This old man is the anti-president. May he shortly be returned to private life, using the time he has left on earth learning whatever lessons life is gracious enough to teach.

1. Well, that might rally the youthful base, but it is unhelpful with the
independents, the "Reagan Democrats" and the Greatest Generation. Don't shoot the messenger, your weapons have no effect on me.

Obama has distanced himself from that comment. His supporters would be wise to follow suit and move on. Unless they want him to lose big.

4. So You Are Suggesting We Just Allow These "Reagan Democrats"
to remain deluded? I don't think it is ever wrong to speak the truth.

5. Go ahead and get in their faces. Scream at them that a POW is a war monger. Go on, DO IT!!
Get so exorcised that spittle sprays from your mouth, while you're at it. Get a good head of steam going.

And we'll have you and those like you to thank for four years of President Popeye starting in Jan 09.

Obama has said he disagrees with your "truth." So he's "deluded?"

What, you're saying that the candidate is what...a fucking liar? A Bullshitter? A panderer?

Which is it?

6. No, I think I'll be wise enough to have my own opinions.
I don't need to be a clone of the candidate I favor in order to support him. He's winning without that anyway.

9. Do articulate them, loudly and regularly, at every opportunity, since they mean so much to you.
Make sure you aren't a clone of your candidate, certainly....but be sure to tell everyone who you're backing when you depart from his path.

It'll make the contest much more interesting.

10. WTF are you talking about? This is the 1st thread I've started in gdp
And I rarely comment. But, uh, yeah, when I do want to voice my opinion, I will. Thanks ever so for your permission.

11. You've missed my point.
You don't need my permission. What that was, was wry "encouragement."

When a supposed "supporter" is backing a candidate but telling everyone that they don't actually subscribe to many of the candidate's views, it isn't terribly helpful to the candidate. That's why I was encouraging you to speak out--it helps MY candidate, capisce?

Take the chip off your shoulder, and read the post without preconceived notions.

3. the man should have been retired to private life years ago. I fear that his
years as a pow are starting to show in his lack of mental acumen.

14. Here's a wrench
What if McCain doesn't make it to the GE?

Now, now, settle down. I don't think that he's going to kick the bucket.

What I mean is, I don't think he is well. The McCain I see today is not the quick-thinking man I saw no less than a year ago. His speech is slower. His responses are slower. He says things that simply don't make sense. I'm no doctor but I think there is something wrong with him, physiologically, clinically.

I afraid that he's going to drop out and lords knows who those bastids will choose to replace him. I don't think we can depend on John McCain to be the republican candidate in the GE.
