If Mc Cain were VP, how would he vote in the House?
Would he be a Repub? What if his was a tie braking vote? Would he vote with the Dems or Repubs?

I would like this question answered before I would want him for VP.

1. he wouldn't
Vice Presidents don't vote in the house.

They only vote in the senate when there's a tie. Traditionally, they vote the way the President tells them to.

3. Better yet, does that mean we have to vote for him in 2012?

compel the VP to resign.

I have a suspicion that he can't.

5. Can't Force A VP to Resign
There is no constitutional mechanism for a President to force a VP to resign.

7. There's no check though. You can't force VP to resign, and you can't
forbid VP from presiding over the Senate.

The VP can vote any way he or she choses.
