1. TX - CD-32 - Frost Versus Sessions - Dallas County Is Becoming
democratic!

Sessions had his head handed to him three weeks ago at a town hall meeting.

The largely ex-telecom crowd was very angry over job losses and jobless recovery.

6. A gain of 11 should
do it and in the past that would be no problem, 30-40 seats would regularly change hands. This redistricting shit ONLY serves those in power and screws the People, its got to stop. I wish my "rep" was on the endangered list.

3. Didn't Chandler just win KY-4
very recently? He has to run for re-election right after winning? So the citizens of KY-4 effectively have no congressman because he's always running, more so that other congresspeople do.

Strange.

4. I hope we win the IL-8th
Edited on Wed May-26-04 05:08 AM by aldian159
not only because I have family there, but because that was Rummy's district. However, Crane has been there for a long time, but the entire state is trending blue, thankfully.

Maybe the same for the 10th as well.

5. I'm not quite sure I understand what endangered means

but in Oklahoma, CD-2 was a Democrat ( Brad Carson) and will remain Democratic this time as well. The Republican is extremely weak.

On edit - that should be the two Republicans who are running are very weak.

7. KS3 is always an endangered seat.
Rep. Moore is in a very Republican district but organizes well and usually wins a close battle. Part of that is due to Republican in fighting and primaries. In 2002, the moderate Repub. won the primary which worried many here. But. Moore still pulled out a close win. He can always use any help.

8. 4th district Michigan
Rubber stamp Camp is going to be in for a serious race this year. District 4 in MI has lost massive jobs (Luxaire factory--employed half the town and now all the little plants around that supplied it). The unions are already pouring some cash into it and we've got Levin's former campaign manager at the helm. Dem candidate is Mike Huckleberry.

This is going to be a hot one.
