Poll question: how many here did the nader/gore vote swap in 2000?
Remember the vote swap? Voters in heavy red states voted for Nader instead of Gore in exchange for Nader supporters voting for Gore in battleground states. I live in Indiana and swapped my vote with someone from Tennessee. Curious to see what others did.

1. Mom in AZ voted for Nader for me, I voted for Gore for her in CO.
Since AZ was very Repug, and Colorado was close.

We were both Gore supporters, but both think a third party needs a chance, too.

Sorry we did it. Nader deserves a kick in the pants.

Oh, well.

5. I just could not pull the trigger for Nader
I swapped with like 5 different people in swing states (I live in Mass). In the end there was no way I could vote for Ralph.

7. Voted for the best Democrat in the race at the time
who happened to be Nader. I also voted for him in 1996, too, after Clinton abandoned us with NAFTA, "Welfare Reform", and the completely idiotic "Defense of Marriage Act". However, I do live in a blue state (MN), which has gone Republican in only one recent presidential election (1972), so I was safe to vote my conscience.
