Theoretically, you can search names or addresses to learn who has donated to which candidate (including all who ran in the Democratic primaries), and how much they gave.

After striking out on info for friends and family members, I searched my own name. It didn't show up, even though I made a donation this year. Then I searched my street address. The site couldn't find it so it listed donations from people in my zip code.

You can search for celebrities too, but I didn't bother.

Summary: Not very effective, but I'm kind of relieved. Even though such information is public, a site like this makes it a bit too easy to access it.
