Should I bother to see Bill Clinton tomorrow?
He's coming to my town. Most of what he's said lately has really rubbed me wrong. I am considering going, but may not care to hear what he has to say.

21. I'd get there early. I saw him a year and a half ago...
...at a rally for Kirsten Gillibrand, and the (aircraft) hangar filled up fast. I was there early and got up front - close enough to shake his hand. Very cool experience!

I saw Obama in Columbia, I'd like to see Hillary, but she's not come close enough yet. I will most likely take the opportunity to see Bill.

If you've nothing better to do, you might as well give it a shot.

The guy does have a charismatic presence that you can feel from a mile away.

But the security will be a pain in the butt.

I'm not too happy with him right now myself but I'd still go. There's something about seeing someone in person that helps you decide how you really feel about them.

Every time anyone famous comes close to where I live I can't get in to see them. Hope to see Obama, B. Clinton, Carter and Gore before I die.

30. I saw him earlier this week, his speech was good..
not aimed at BO, or anything. More of what we should do as a nation, w/ plugs for Hillary thrown in. What else would you expect?

We got there about an hour early and got in. It was worth the 3 hours (drive time included).

Here's a link to the visit I saw in Logansport, IN

http://www.wishtv.com/global/story.asp?s=8051662

Ours was the 4th one down.

It's just at a high school, though.

I've not seen it advertised, it is on Hillary's website. I just got a call.

37. what it IS about is getting you signed up for the campaign.
you have to fill out some info to get in, that's your "ticket", then the next day you'll get a call from them asking for help, "where would be a good place to base operations in your city", etc.

I think that's why the President's doing this, to start a foundation for their campaign in your area.

yes, do go. It's worth the effort. Just leave some blanks open on your form, if you don't wish to be bothered later.

This primary will be over eventually, and his words during this season will be mostly forgotten. Former Presidents don't come to town every day.
