2 New RW talking Points. Keep the Barf Bags Ready!
These from 2 RW morons from work yesterday!

1. The Saudi's will lower the price of oil before election day because they're afraid of Kerry's flip-flopping.
Of course there was no answer to th fact that the Saudi's and the BFEE have been in bed together for half of forever!

2. John Kerry only went to Vietnam for his own personal gain. Otherwise, why else did he bring a movie camera with him?
Of course, there was no answer to my response, which was; a. AWOL and b. I had other priorities. I can see it now JK saying to himself, as the bullets were hitting him, "Gee! This is going to do me a lot of good when I run for president when I'm 60 against an unelected moron!"

Anyway, be on the lookout!

1. I guess those soldiers that took photos of
each other abusing the Iraqis had cameras for personal gain too.

2. Those are as good (bad?) as...
... the one I heard last week.

I was working at a guy's house, and the radio was on. The Dow was dipping below 10K, and I commented that my retirement is getting further away.

I was shocked when he said that anyone who counts on Social Security for their retirement is an idiot, and that anyone who didn't move away to find a better paying job deserves their fate- being stuck making $ 10 and hour - if they can get it. Naturally, he is a diehard Mallwart shopper type- buying all the cheap plasic crap.

He lives in a wealthy community of mostly second homes, where the grounds are kept pretty nicely by all those 'idiots' who didn't move away. What a dolt!

3. The selfless Chickenhawks avoided the glory of combat .....
while John Kerry ran headlong into the fight in his quest for personal glory.

WOW! It's all clear to me now. </sarcasm>

I swear I could take a carton of crap and put a republican logo on it and they would eat it and call it ice cream.

4. isn't there film of Chuck Hagel in vietnam also ?
Edited on Mon May-17-04 06:41 AM by JI7
i think i remember seeing some film of senator hagel when he served in vietnam also. i have seen film of many others who served also. while not everyone had cameras, i don't think they were banned and we know kerry could probably afford one more than most others who served so that's why he had one.

and it's really hard to believe someone would put themselves in a war zone where they can easily be killed just for personal gain.

6. You gotta be kidding me.
Hell, thousands of soldiers brought cameras to 'Nam. My own cousin did, and many of my buds also did. They knew a good many guys who had movie cameras too. They quickly ran out of film, though. From what I understand such film was hard to get.

Those people are crazy.

19. One reel of Super 8 film lasts ten minutes.
I can imagine why it didn't last very long. I bet HUGE quantities of it went bad, too.

Deserted the Air National Guard for the good of the country, which is why he did not bring a movie camera with him.

9. #2 sounds about right
Unlike many of us, Kerry was priveleged enough to go to Vietnam. Bush is a man of the people and when he's reappointed his draft will make sure the common people get first priority on the personal gain. To make up for their tax breaks, the rich will have to stay home... no gain for them.

11. Desperation!!
It's amazing what they come up with. Saudi's "afraid of flip-flopping?" Being a duck in a shooting gallery in Vietnam, which is basically what those swift boats were, is "for personal gain?"

It's good to know they're desperate!

I want to see a cartoon with the Chimp somehow surrounded with images of war, lying, loss of international credibility, prison abuses, billions of dollar lost, hundreds of lives lost, no WMDs, no Osama, no exit strategy -- and he's pointing his stupid little finger at Kerry whining, "Flip-flopper!" ... How pathetic!!

13. Skewering the Freeper lies...

1. The House of Saud has had long ties with the Bush family. Poppa Bush started working with the Sauds in the '70s.

The fact that the bin Laden family and the Bush family were friends and even young Dubya used to play with the bin Laden children back in the '70s should be somewhat troubling to any half-witted knucklehead.

The fact that the bin Laden family and dozens of Saudi royals were secretly escorted out of the US on September 12, and was admitted by Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States recently on Meet the Press, shows you how the Bush family is implicated with the Sauds in perilous levels.

Bandar allegedly saw the Iraq war plans BEFORE Colin Powell. That shows you what Bush thinks of the chain of command.

So you can see why the Sauds would lower gas prices (which are skyrocketing now and helping to line the pockets of oil companies that backed Bush in 2000) so that it appears that Bush is "doing a good job".

Ask the Freepers how many Iraqis were on the planes on 911 and a bonus question of how many Saudis were on board...

2. Kerry, like many soldiers who served their country honorably and won medals for their valor and courage and didn't pussy out and go AWOL, brought cameras to Vietnam. Perhaps the knuckleheaded nitwit freepers didn't realize that cameras were around in the 1960's. Remind them that cameras were even taken by soldiers in WWII.

Imagine that...

14. A little rhetorical jujitsu for ya...
"The Saudi's will lower the price of oil before election day because they're afraid of Kerry's flip-flopping."

When your buddy says this, why not respond:

"Oh. So in other words, the Saudis ARE going to manipulate oil prices to benefit Bush?"

or,

"Oh. So in other words, Bush's Saudi friends ARE gouging American drivers while they still can?"

or...

...well, you get the idea. Add your own to this list. The possibilities are endless.

17. #2 is very old
I was hearing that one way back before I even knew who Kerry was. That smear was bundled in with Skull and Bones and the thrown medals, etc.

I bet that talking point dates back to the Nixon days.

One would think the freepers would be outraged at the thought of those non Christian rag heads interfering in our elections. <sarcasm>
