Obama to embark on Diplomatic World Tour after securing the Nomination
and that is how he will win the General Election!

Can you imagine the crowds in Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, England, The middle East, Africa, Mexico, Japan, etc....

The reporting around the world will be wild, and too much for the U.S. lazyass press to ignore.

Americans here, many tired of being hated and feared, will realize that the kind of love that foreigners show Obama will result in an opportunity of a lifetime for us, The United States of America. Even Big Business will "kind of" support Obama, just because of the Good Will he will bring.

Barack Obama will wooed them, like he has wooed many of us.

Then, on his triumphant return to the United States, his approval rating will soar, and he will beat McCain in 49 States.

That's how Obama wins the GE, White Vote and all!

1. Just seeing Obama in the GE will improve the US image abroad
When he's elected, we'll see the greatest outpouring of international goodwill for the US since Sep 12, 2001.

22. you know, it reminds me of the civil rights marches and such when
white and black faces were seen together in the common cause. It was wonderful to watch, solidarity for human dignity. reminds me of soul
music, which imparted the same thing: people coming together to be
together, white and black. Look at the picture of happy people together, colors together, people together. That is another of the things about
Obama that make me feel better about the future.

2. Like the thousands that still line up to see Bill Clinton? He was possibly the most
popular president of our time in Europe and the rest of the world. Obama couldn't hold a candle to him.He has a lot of growing to do to even begin to compare with Bill Clinton on the world stage.

4. I am always so impressed
with Bill when I see people come out of their houses abroad just to watch him walk by.

12. Again, you think you know what candle Obama would hold compared to
has been Bill. You dislike Obama, and so your conclusion is just that; something pulled out of your ass.

Did Bill fill up a 20,000 stadium full of Americans during his primaries? If so, how many times?

17. Not in the primaries he didn't
GE rally crowds are larger than primary crowds...unless you're Barack Obama. Obama's primary crowds are more like GE crowds. Makes me wonder just how large the Obama crowds are going to be after the convention in Denver. :)

25. In Denver...
Obama drew 19,000 in the morning. People started lining up at 4:00 a.m. in the frigid wicked cold. BC drew 4,000 that evening in the same arena, some of whom had gone to the Obama rally and stayed over to hear Bill since they were in town anyway.

3. Not sure about Mexico....
But, yes, he is the bush antithesis, unlike the other party who is still slogging away and resembles more than challenges bush and all he falls for.

6. I can't think of a better way to alienate middle America than that...
The reality is that much of America is an ethnocentric and at times xenophobic. If a candidate tries to use some sort of "world tour" -not only will that be viewed (rightly) as hubris, but it'll play right into the god damn America theme- which we're going to be hearing until November if he's the nominee.

8. Uh, McCain just got finished doing the same thing.
Why would it be hubris for Obama to do it?

9. I agree. It would be terrible.
The Republicans are already trying to question his loyalty on various fronts: religion, Israel, patriotism, etc. If he goes abroad and is greeted by huge crowds (which would probably happen), it would play into the Republican game plan. Our country is one of the most ethnocentric in the world, sadly, and let's remember that the love for Bill Clinton abroad did not translate into support for him her. In Obama's case, I think it would translate into greater distrust of him.

11. What is amazing is how afraid we are to make a move without presupposing
How America will react. That's why the Democratic party is lost.....because they are a reactionnary party who based their every movement on what someone other then their own party will say. That's why the Democrats to date have not led, because they are too afraid to be leaders unless a poll is conducted. Your way of thinking is exactly what is wrong with America today, no pain, no risk, not nothing.....just the same ol' same ol' of kissing the butts of those we should be conversating with instead.

13. Let's lock up the nomination first, please.
Hillary's like the T-1000: Even if you think you've destroyed her, if even a molecule of her original form remains she will regenerate and come back at you quicker than spit.

15. You'd better hope not!
If he gets the nomination, he won't have too long to campaign HERE. He'd better be HERE, wooing the blue collar white voters and the Latino voters and the independents, because he's going to need all of them to win the GE.

Even I don't think Obama is stupid enough to waste that kind of time.
