An anonymous poster on kos says Hillary is thinking of dropping out and people here believe it, LOL
This is the same dailykos that had postings after postings after Hillary's NH win that she committed voter fraud and hacked the machines because the polls could never be wrong! lol

Let me clue people in on the reality of the situation. She has placed her two best operatives Robby Mook and Ace Smoth as state diectors in Indiana and North Carolina. These are the people that won her Nevada, Ohio, California, Texas when everyone said she would lose. They are the best in the business.

Her plan is to win Pennsylvania big (20+ points) and then strike a mortal blow to Obama by winning Indiana big and win North Carolina by a few points like Texas.

So those are the benchmarks.

If she pulls off the trifecta, don't for a second think this race won't be a jump ball.

51. I certainly don't agree with that sentiment.
I have nothing against the Clintons at all. But Barack Obama is our candidate and the next President. I hope Hillary and Bill both understand this, and since they are intelligent and credits to the party, I suspect that they do.

15. Let's discuss your scenario.
Her plan is to win Pennsylvania big (20+ points) and then strike a mortal blow to Obama by winning Indiana big and win North Carolina by a few points like Texas.

Pennsylvania has 158 delegates to distribute in the primary. A win of 20+ points (let's say 25) is 65-35. That's a 102-56 split. Hillary gains a net of 46 delegates.

Indiana has 72 delegates. Let's say she wins by the same margin. That's 47-25, a net gain of 22.

North Carolina by a "few points" like Texas means dead-even in delegates. No net gain.

So by your reckoning, Hillary gains 68 delegates in these contests. She is behind right now by 137.

Now, who exactly is "continuing delusional fantasies" here?

So the supporters continue to tell her to drop out because they know she can pull this out. They might as well be talking to the wall because all it does is begin to start sounding very negative and the general public will be sick of it and vote for Hilary just because the Obama supporters are so aggressive.

and Obama is whooping her.

how many primaries are left?

Not nearly enough for her to catch up, and he's getting the superdelegates and endorsements.

Plus he can manage his money, she can't. Even with all that corporate money, she's broke.

If you don't believe me, take a hard look at Bill Clinton. He looks desperate. I've never seen Bill look so unhappy - and he's far too brilliant a politician to be f'ing up all over the place like he has been.

He knows it is over.

25. I don't know what to believe anymore. For the past week I've listened
to a self-proclaimed "Presidential Scholar" repeat that even though he is for Clinton, she can't possibly win and should drop out.

By the same token, people here at DU have convinced me that she CAN still win, and obviously if this is so, she should remain in the race.

May the best person win. I favor Obama, but Hillary would make a hell of a president.

I just wish the choice were clearer, so we could all stop fighting.

Sadly, it wouldn't matter if she lost the next states. Failure is not an option, for Hillary. She is hell-bent on winning, no matter what it takes. I'd like to think that the Obama surge is working, and maybe it is... but she doesn't believe in being defeated.

I have no idea when it will some. She is in debt, and Obama is on the rise again. This next month will be all on how the media pushes surrogate stories.

They agreed to two more debates, and Hillary is favored in PA. If the internals show she will win solidly there, she'll stay. If she starts slipping in PA, she may bow out.

58. Of course she's thinking about it. But only thinking.
Her having fallen significantly behind Obama in delegates has to be discouraging, and she is not the utter villain occasionally painted here--she will consider dropping out for the good of the party, barring some miracle. She's still wearing a brave face, though, God bless her.

No need to fantasize about "mortal blows" to Obama, though. What she needs now is delegates; otherwise, only a brokered convention or Supreme Court case might give her a "win."

I expect her to take these three states with breathtaking wins. I am surprised to see Obama still trying to hold on. When those pastor remarks became public the race was essentially over for him. People have invested so much time and incredible amounts of money for him that they can't throw in the towel and they continue to lurch along. But let's face it...he is not going to be elected president in this country. After the remarks by his pastor, people will join hands and vote for an eggplant before voting for him.

You said that Robby Mook and Ace Smoth helped her win Nevada and Texas but in reality O got more delegates in both Nevada and Texas than she did and you know it. So maybe those guys aren't so good after all. So why don't you just give it up Herman? It's over for Clinton in spite of any spin that you might attempt to pull off.
