Obama debuts Pennsylvania TV spots

Though just about everyone believes Hillary Clinton will carry Pennsylvania, Barack Obama's campaign isn't giving up on the state. They've just released three television ads that will run in the state's six major media markets. Clinton hasn't run any ads in Pennsylvania yet.

The ads have been dubbed "Opportunity," "Toughest" and "Carry." "Opportunity" runs 60 seconds, and is a biographical piece; "Toughest" is about his efforts at ethics reform and opposition to lobbyists. "Carry," which has run elsewhere, is about his bipartisanship during his time in the Illinois state senate.

I have been hearing a lot of radio ads in the Philly market but haven't seen any of the TV ads yet. Of course, if it isn't CNBC, MSNBC or Comedy Central, the teevee isn't on -- so may not see them.

in my area of PA. Possibly the bipartisanship, too.

People are sick to death of corruption around here. How else in the world does someone get elected with the name of "Nutter" in a 90% Dem town, except by seeming relatively uncorrupt while following on the sleazy Street gang?

Then there was Curt Weldon getting tossed on his ear in 2006 over corruption.

Yeah, I think SEPA will like the ethics reform bit.

I love those ads and I'm not a big political ad fan..not too many are after all the negative shite over the years.

Whomever put these ads together has skills.

I think they'll do really well in PA and I feel like sending some bucks to keep these ads goin' on.
