Edited on Fri Mar-21-08 12:18 PM by blues90
Crips , I'm amazed she was ever voting in as a NY senator . Lately I have heard nothing but everything she or Bill has done and it is all bad . :sarcasm:

If this is truly the case then we better shine a very bright light into the entire government on all sides and all seats because being in the DC bubble they all have something to hide in their enormous elite club .

I say stop the elections and dig into all their life's before we make another grand mistake .

This really was from the start an election between a black man and a white women and it was all setup to be this way by our very own media , wasn't it ?

5. depends on what the definition of 'monster' is
I wouldn't use that word myself. To me, Lieberman, Hillary and Bill are all moderate Republicans pretending to be progressive Democrats. Although even that is a simplification. The Clintons are socially liberal corporate politicians. Similar to Bush's compassionate conservatism, they pay lip service to the troubles of ordinary Americans, but then don't do all that much to help them. Unless NAFTA, telecom deregulation, and the Iraq war can be said to have been designed to help ordinary Americans. Unless tax credits for those above the median income are guaranteed to trickle down to those below the median income.

From a progressive point of view, that's pretty monstrous, but in the big picture it's not as monstrous as George W. Bush.

17. what exactly is this grip stuff?
Did I miss this in logic class where a thesis is refuted by the statement "get a grip"?

Of course the OP here is quite vague and maybe even sarcastic. The supposed proof of Hillary's monstrousness is nowhere to be found.

But not all dems are always worthy of support. Sometimes, like Lieberman, they show their true colors to people who can see what they are doing. In Lieberman's case, it was running onto TV to support Republicans and bash Democrats every chance he got. Some people saw that, while others were probably saying "He's a good Democrat. Get a grip." Then he got defeated in the primary and ran as an independent. Thus his true colors were revealed to even more people. Other people were still in denial. It was the blogosphere's fault and Lamont's for driving him from the party. "He's still caucusing with the Democrats. So get a grip."

Then he endorsed McCain. True colors come shining through, and hopefully even fewer have their hands over their eyes, seeing no evil.

You seem to be trying to discourage people from speaking evil when the evil they see is done by a "Great Democrat".

Thus, if we see Hillary's campaign

1. Raise donations from rich people and corporations
2. accept race baiting and smear attacks from Cuomo, BET founder and Ferraro et. al.
3. stay in the campaign and goto attack mode which edges close to civil war
4. Praise McCain AND mock Obama in the same paragraph
5. Lie about how long it took Bill to win the nomination
6. Lie about how much money she raised in February
7. Stay on the ballot in Michigan and then claim it as a victory
8. Accept help from Rush Limbaugh in Texas and Ohio as Bill goes on Rush's radio show.

and so on.
and who knows what else they are doing behind the scenes. :tinfoilhat: Bribing or bullying superdelegates? Using connections to the Conservative party in Canada? It's easy to be paranoid when an ex-President who has connections and clout is so deeply involved in the campaign. I still think she has gotten key help from NBC and CBS, and that she essentially bribed Ohioans to vote for her when she came out with a package of tax credits before the primary. But let us not speculate, much less investigate. Let us instead 'get a grip'. Let's put a few coats of whitewash over those true colors. Marginalize and dismiss those who might have clearer vision.

he's done one hell of a job with that hasn't he. From this point forward I shall call obama obigot cause that is what he is.

It seems unreasonable to hate whites and then expect them to vote for you. Yet, that seems to be the contradictory basis of Obama’s campaign of reconciliation.

15. She eats babies. And she isn't The Savio(u)r.
An excellent statesman is being destroyed by a messianic movement within American Progressivism. To hell with Obama's actual talents and accomplishments -- this is a movement. How DARE the Wicked Witch harsh on our "dreamz"?

As a result, this primary is about everything EXCEPT substance. And most of us will pat oach other on the back talking about how Hope won out. We finally got that pony on Christmas morning.

The Republicans know that our enthusiasms are a hundred miles wide and an inch deep. By this time next year, a President Obama will already be under tremendous attack from all points left of Hitler.

This primary season is "Mission Accomplished" for what TPTB left undone in 1998.

Pretty pathetic, ain't it/we?

20. and a President Hillary WOULDN'T be under "attack from all points left of Hitler"?
You are seriously deluded if you think that. President Hillary is the culmination of the right wing's wet "dreamz" (I suppose there's an offhanded racist commentary in that particular spelling). This is what they've waited 8 years for (why do you think they want her to be our nominee so bad?). This is what they've trained for. They will go after her with both barrels blazing. They will leave nothing but her beady little eyes when they're done. She will accomplish NOTHING as president because she will be too distracted by the constant barrage of obstruction from the right (and thanks to her divisive brand of campaigning she hasn't won a lot of new support on this side either). Bill could have accomplished so much more as president if he a) could've kept it in his pants (giving them all the ammo they needed) and b) hadn't met with so much resistance from the republics. They've only improved their game since.

I leave you to your sad, pathetic fantasies ("dreamz":eyes: if you will) now.

30. Sure. But Hillary knows how to fight.
Obama has already indicated that he would compromise with Republicans as often as he could.

He's campaigned on it. He wants to "reach across the aisle."

The Republicans will certainly go after Obama. And he will seek to reach across the aisle. Every time. He isn't running so much as a Democrat but as the savior of American politics. And if he becomes president, the GOP will be unending in their demands. By April of 2009, Democrats -- not just Hillary Democrats, but the "too-hip-for-the-room" Democrats who are currently all for Obama -- will be trotting out their Counterpunch and Chomsky essays to prove that he's just the latest Corporate Tool.

As for Bill keeping it in his pants, perhaps you should extend your questioning of serious delusion to yourself. The dogpile on Bill Clinton started about three days after he was sworn in. This was long before the "bimbo eruption" scandals that so many Democrats now buy into. (But wait! Isn't it supposed to be The Eeevil Hillary who will do anything to win?) But the press is temporarily off the hook because it has been so good to BHO, with only five days of Pastorgate excepted.

It's funny that you hooked onto that "dreamz" spelling the way you did. No, it isn't racist -- it was used by college hackers in the late 1970s, and it's now become nearly universal thanks to the ubiquity of modern advertising. But I guess you will now say that *I* played the Race Card, anyway.

Speaking of "divisive brand(s) of campaigning", remember that when you point your finger at someone, three fingers point back at you. Yeah, Bill needs to hear that as well, but Bill isn't questioning my sanity and calling me a bigot.

And then ... "pathetic"! Ah, the masterstroke! The adults have arrived! You really PWNED me, pal.

So much anger, so much rage from an Agent of Change and Hope. It's like the Freepers all cut-and-pasted Obama logos and signed up at DU.

Most. Ironic. Campaign. EVER.

Comparing us to freeprs...Ah, the masterstroke! WE'RE not the ones quoting Hannity, NewsMax, Malkin and the rest.

Bill had sex with Monica WHILE president. That's a fact, not something I'm "buying into". Deal with it. I know you hill-bots are in deep denial, but that's just ludicrous.

Reality check: Hillary's not going to win. But feel free to keep banging your head against the brick wall. The wall doesn't feel it and all you get is (more) brain dmaged.:banghead:

Most. Desperate. Campaign. EVER.

A bunch of playground bullies who fancy themselves as Agents of Change, whose days consist of aping the writing styles of their "mortal enemies".

Hope! Unity! And an end to that nasty, nasty fighting that Team Obama finds so far beneath its exalted dignity!

The gloating haughtiness may feel good now, but in a short enough time, you will wear it like a leisure suit.

PS -- As to the election -- remember, the election? -- some of us prefer to let people vote rather than to rely on an elite's demands for capitulation. But it's a free country; believe as you wish. And vote Democratic in November.
