You all are being played like fiddles
If you THINK that a divided Democratic Party serves EITHER candidate, then you really need to read up on politics.
The ONLY people that a divided party serves are republicans.
These smears are all republican. The only way they can beat us is to divide us.
Make us start pointing fingers at other Democrats...rightfully or wrongfully.
They have succeeded.
Congratulations on ALL of YOUR efforts to help their cause.
FFS--idiots thinking that a Democratic candidate for President would hire moles to infiltrate the State Department to steal obama's passport info is crazy-thinking. Downright crazy. Take some meds.
Loosen the tinfoil.
Get a grip. Whatever it takes.
This has republican paw prints all over it.
Those that refuse to see that are nothing but willing pawns.

16. That's when the trouble really starts
All these things that she has been accused of doing by the media and the blogosphere...THOSE are the chickens that will come home to roost.
The RW has played you all like suckers and the media has been their accomplices.
The blowback of that is that MANY don't believe that Clinton has been behind this crap that they say she has...and that will hurt your guy in the election if those people choose to stay home, vote 3rd party or even vote republican.
You guys have made some serious mistakes and thrown some serious allegations out there...you might not be able to recover from them.

State Dept. Official Who Searched Clinton's Passport Files Resigns

By ROBERT PEAR,
Published: November 18, 1992

A State Department official who carried out the two-day search of passport files for information about Gov. Bill Clinton said today that he had resigned, just 48 hours before Federal investigators are expected to issue a report criticizing the search.

The official, Steven M. Moheban, was a top aide to Elizabeth M. Tamposi, the Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs who was dismissed last week by President Bush for her role in the search of files on Mr. Clinton, his mother, Virginia Kelley, and Ross Perot, the independent Presidential candidate.

"I resigned Monday," said Mr. Moheban, a 30-year-old native of Nashua, N.H., Ms. Tamposi's hometown. "I no longer work for the State Department."

37. To each his own
I suppose.
I stand behind THAT post.
I'm not calling for unification here, by the way, I was pointing out that you all were willing to destroy the party for your agenda--the agenda of getting obama elected--to the point that you will allow republicans play you like fools. Clinton isn't to blame for all that you all have blamed her for. She is NOT that powerful. The republicans have had their nasty hands in this mess for quite sometime...but the media who have CONSISTENTLY been republican-friendly...report that "someone SAID that it came from the Clinton camp"...and you all drag it back to your caves and chew on the carcass until the only thing left is the lie...and then you repeat the lie over and over until it becomes a truth...in the obama echo chamber.
You all haven't done anyone any favors.
Personally, if I were Clinton...I'd tell every Democrat in this country to go get fucked and leave the party behind and never look back.
I would NOT want to represent you.
But hey, that is just me.

But I'll offer in response that beating on a Dem candidate for statements made by a friend, for days after that candidate renounced those statements, doesn't do a whole hell of a lot for the party brand, either.

Don't put the divided party all on obama supporters. There's plenty of people from both sides whooping it up at that party.

If the republicans just did the dirty tricks, it would unite OUR party MORE.
If the republicans and their operatives (media) get Democrats to believe that other Democrats did the dirty tricks, that is where the divide comes in.
I was an Edwards supporter. I have said some bad things about Clinton and obama.
However...I still believe that the republicans are the bad guys and deserve our ire. I just do not believe that Clinton is SO powerful that she could have done all of the things she is accused of doing.
Thank GOD they already know who kidnapped the Lindbergh baby or no doubt Hillary would be accused of that TOO.

The whole idea that Hillary is "worse" than the Republicans in some way is a dangerous fantasy...It leaves them totally unprepared for what they are going to be up against. Yet its really prevelant here, with all these people saying they McCain is equal or even better. Its utterly, obviously a sentiment that's being stirred up by Republicans.

Oh, right: you didn't have a problem with that.

But when new info comes out, and the tide turns and threatens to go against your side, we should wise up and stand by you -- lest the "real" enemy win?
