I can’t believe this isn’t being discussed here. This is late-breaking news that is bound to throw both candidates’ supporters into the biggest name-calling, mud-slinging, no-holds-barred, bottom-of-the-barrel scrape-fest the likes of which we haven’t yet seen on this website since – well, probably since yesterday.

I have it on very good authority that Hillary Clinton ended an answer to a reporter earlier today with the words "you know what I mean"!!!

What exactly did she mean by THAT? What is she trying to imply by that phrase, “you know what I mean”? I think her message was clear; we are all expected to be prescient and know what she means, because she obviously doesn’t want to talk about it. What is she trying to hide? What nefarious goings-on is she attempting to obfuscate with that phrase? What horrible truth about herself or her campaign is she desperately seeking to sweep under the rug by saying, “You know what I mean”?

But wait, there’s MORE!

In the middle of a press conference this morning, Barrack Obama said – and I am only paraphrasing here until this explosive clip shows up on YouTube – “Mm hmm.” THIS is the man we are supposed to trust our country to? THIS is the hope and change we’ve been led to believe was forthcoming? ”Mm hmm”, indeed! What kind of double-crossing dirty dealings are implied by that non-word, so blatantly dismissive of everything this country stands for?

Oh, and don’t any of you dare to ask me for a link! Do your own research for once! Since when does anyone here have to back up what they’re posting with facts? Is that a NEW RULE?

Context? You want context? What are you some kind of Freeper troll? Isn’t the fact that the phrases "you know what I mean" and "mm hmm" were used by these two so-called Democrats enough?

Where is the outrage!?! Where are the three dozen posts about these comments!?! Where are the flame-wars!?!

I’d venture to say they’re coming soon to a DU Forum near you: You-know-what-I-mean-gate and Mm hmm-gate. And the fact that this is all complete nonsense won’t even be noticed.

I’m not saying that some people here are professional mountain-out-of-molehill makers – but they are among the world’s top-ranking amateurs.
