Obama's position on MI and FL delegates
But in an exclusive interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper on Wednesday, the Illinois senator hit back at Clinton's claims that he is standing in the way of revotes in Florida and Michigan.

"Sen. Clinton, I have to say on this, has been completely disingenuous. She said, when she was still trying to compete with the votes in Iowa and New Hampshire, that Michigan and Florida wouldn't count," he said.

"Then, as soon as she got into trouble politically and it looked like she would have no prospects of winning the nomination without having them count, suddenly she's extraordinarily concerned with the voters there."

"I understand the politics of it, but let's be clear that it's politics," he added. "I want the Michigan delegation and the Florida delegation to be seated. And however the Democratic National Committee determines we can get that done, I'm happy to abide by those rules."

*************************

I am tired of these smear campaigns initiated by the Hillary supporters.

5. It is the MI legislature stopping it.
Hey when Hillary gets down and dirty it is called "politics" and anything goes.

6. They waited too long
Of course they will not come around to a common conclusion in one day. There are many issues to be sorted out with so little time left.

They should have thought about this a long time ago.

Meanwhile you got desperate Hillary supporters who would blame Obama for anything. As if Obama has to agree to any redo plan that might even be unfair.

3. Obama is willing to abide by the rules and the decisions of the DNC...
...the Clinton campaign wants to bend or break the rules where and when it benefits them.

I understand that the Obama campaign is concerned with the prospect of a privately funded redo that is financed in large part by Clinton financial backers. Would you trust the integrity of a voting process funded, orchestrated and organized by your opposition? To trust such a process would demonstrate poor judgement, distrusting such a proposal shows that the Obama campaign has better sense than to take political opposition "at its word".

Something Senator Clinton would have been wise to have done back in 2001/2002/2003...

7. Bookmark that thought. I believe you'll come to renounce it.
I don't believe that Obama will graciously consent to go by DNC rules should those rules be restrictive to his own perceived chances.

I think it is obvious that Florida's vote should stand as-is, and their delegates should be seated according to it. That would be the fair and Democratic thing to do.

Consider: Florida's voters turned out in record numbers, expecting to participate in the primary process through the only means they were offered. They had and have every right to expect their votes to count. All candidates were on the Florida ballot and all had equal access to advertising (none). In a way, the Florida Primary was MORE FAIR than any of the others because money wasn't a determining factor.

I cannot see a single good reason -- especially now we're in the fix we're in -- to exclude the honest ballots of those honest Democrats from the FIFTH-LARGEST (and previously twice-screwed) state.

Would Obama agree to seating the Florida delegation according to the outcome of the January Primary election?

Betcha he wouldn't -- if that's what the DNC's official decision is.

I hope to be proven wrong about that. I hope Florida's delegation is seated according to the election results and that Obama is gracious and compliant in his acceptance of that.

I hope that, but I sure wouldn't wager that way.

4. The two states have been used as tactics. They will destroy our party
Rather than tell the truth.

They will keep on lying about who is to blame.

It is the two states and their Hillary superdelegates to blame.

People were right. The Clintons will do anything to win.
