I want to see John Edwards and Howard Dean fighting for Kerry EVERY DAY!
Watching Dean now - he is a just terrific - making Kerry's case. Same with Edwards on Late Edition yesterday.

I say this after watching an AWFUL Tad Devine on Crossfire earlier.

The Kerry people really need to raise the bar, and put out only the heavy hitters. We've got 'em. KEEP 'EM IN THE GAME!

1. Michael Donilon was on Inside Politics today and he was terrific!

WOODRUFF: With me now to talk more about John Kerry's political strategy, including his new television ad blitz, is Michael Donilon. He is a media strategist and a senior adviser to the Kerry campaign.

Michael Donilon, a growing chorus of Democrats out there saying, what's going on with John Kerry? He doesn't have a theme to his campaign. How do you boil down? What is the theme of John Kerry's campaign?

MICHAEL DONILON, SR. KERRY ADVISER: Well, Judy, today what you saw with the release of these new ads is a very clear statement about John Kerry's lifetime service of this country. It's been the guiding principle of his life. And what you also see is a constancy and a commitment to fighting for this country. That has been the story of his life as well.

So we think the theme is the commitment to bringing this country together, to bringing change to this country, to bring us together in a way that we can make this a stronger country. It's a very clear theme. And what I would say on that point is this: it is the Bush campaign which has walked away from their theme.

3. Someone should keep a running tally
of the percentage of Woodruff's sentences that begin with the word "but".

God she's tedious.

7. Woodruff really showed her colors.
What the hell are the Bushies holding on her that she has turned so evil over the past 4 years?

2. Dean is fighting every day and not just for Kerry but for the
entire DEM party and for the entire nation who needs people like Dean, Kerry and Edwards having an opinion and a vision on the direction of our country.

Those are three fine, admirable men.

5. I think Dean is disproving
the people who questioned whether he would actively support the democratic ticket if he were not the nominee. He has been a super surrogate for Kerry.

10. Hey. I just did.
And I was most decidedly not a fan of Dean during the primaries. I felt even then he'd make a better DNC chair than nominee.

But I do want to give him maximum props for getting out there, and telling it like it is. He's much better now that he's not watching every word, and trying to say the "correct" thing for the moment.

Howard Dean is a real asset to the party.

12. It's nice to have everybody on the same team.
Well almost - the VEEP wars rage on - but hopefully that will be over sooner rather than later.
