4. Who the hell cares? She's as much a phony as her husband. What's more, she needs to address the
Racial comment she made about "Black America will wake up and get it."

And I want her to look me in the face and tell me what she meant. Was she saying that any Black person not supporting her husband, doesn't "get it."

I'm an African-American woman who supports Sen. Clinton. So does Michelle think I don't "get it?"

12. Thank you for not addressing the issue at hand
Which is whether Michelle Obama thinks anyone in Black America who doesn't support her husband, doesnt' "get it."

She is the one who said "Black America will wake up and get it"

43. Exactly how is someone not Michelle Obama supposed to address your question.
The "vile" comment is more likely owing to your opting to your choice of where to ask it, and rudeness is calling the candidate and his spouse "phonies."

17. I'm an African American woman who gets it

I've had the joy of listening to her speak at UCLA.

From the standing ovation that she received at the packed event that day it was evident that I am not alone in understanding her gifts.

Loved her ~

Thank you for inspiring me to donate an additional $50 to Sen. Obama this evening.

49. Great idea and welcome to DU
I was so happy yesterday.

I got a call from the Obama campaign. The caller was a young Sister and she was so polite and sweet.

She was calling to see if I had made my pledge and I told her that I was donating through the internet and she was thrilled.

18. She has kind of a big mouth
And I think she comes from a very different place and perspective than Barack on race relations. She grew up in inner-city Chicago in a more racially homogenous environment than he did, so I think she has more of a clan-type mentality (i.e. supporting "one of their own") than he does. He was asked a similar question back in November and he responded very differently, saying that he had to earn the black vote just like he had to earn the votes of every other group.

A few of the things she has said concerned me, but at the end of the day, she's not the one running for president.

61. Differing opinions are fine. Ignorant, biased, unfounded statements
and no political discourse is a waste of time. When people want to discuss the issues and where the candidates stand on same, then fine. Otherwise they will stay on ignore.

Goodbye.

21. Be honest
Have you ever heard a politican address racism this way before? With this much balance, addressing the racial tensions and anger among blacks and whites alike? I thought it was a pretty remarkable speech, regardless of candidate preference. Even some of your fellow Clinton supporters here have said that.
