did indeed write it himself. The fact that any politician can write his own speeches, can write anything, in fact, is so unbelievable, I can understand why so many people are asking each other that question.

I'm sure that Obama takes a hand in crafting his speeches. Obviously a candidate has many different tasks to do and can't write every sentence he utters, but that's the nature of the game.
