In all his words, what, if anything, has Sen. Obama said about investigating/prosecuting
the criminality of the * administration?

I have heard NOTHING on this topic, but that just might be the (lack of) media coverage.

Can any of his supporters here shed any light on what he thinks and would do about it?

1. Not be crude, but this is the best masturbatorial fantasy in my arsenal of mastubatory fantasies.

It'll never happen though.

Which is unfortunate. A real down and dirty investigation of this administration with jail sentences for ALL guilty parties from treasonous politicians to corporate war profiteers would be a real win for our nation.

8. What you said!!!
We cannot begin to heal until the wounds have been thoroughly cleansed and debrided! All the poison needs to be washed away and flushed clear of the nation! To attempt a healing without first cleansing the wound is asking for great pain and sorrow down the road. It will never heal. It will only fester.

28. We need a reconciliation process, where they can confess their crimes and be forgiven.
As in South Africa.

Of course, if they don't confess, then prosecute to the fullest! (And face it, Dubya has never fessed up to anything.) ;-)

12. Go back to the schoolyard...
It's almost nap time...

:eyes:

This was a very broad statement and it encompassed BOTH CANDIDATES!

Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Some of you Kool Aid swillers will fight with anything. Go find a piece of string or a shadow!

You just can't... especially not here.

24. So... when the OP fails to mention anyone but Obama, and someone asks about the others...
you tell them to go back to the schoolyard?

Really?

he agrees with you. We haven't heard from Clinton, either. It is time to hold them up for public scrutiny.

13. This could easily be a unifying question...
If we keep asking it, maybe people from both camps will join in and feel a camaraderie.

I'm not supporting either candidate... I'm anxiously awaiting the general elections and will vote for the Democrat of choice... solidly!

Can you run a campaign promising legal prosecution of specific people?

15. Investigation is not the same...
Fighting corruption should be talked about by both candidates. One could even say investigation with the promise to prosecute any found to be guilty.

They could claim investigations, prosecutions, etc. are politically motivated.

22. This will probably sound really dumb...
but Obama's made noise that he's interested in decriminalizing marijuana, but won't make it a campaign issue. I know, it's probably wishfuly thinking, but it's the only way it'll ever get done.

19. He mentioned in his "Turning the Page in Iraq" speech last year...
that he would take immediate steps to confront the humanitarian disaster in Iraq, and to hold accountable any perpetrators of war crimes.

http://www.barackobama.com/2007/09/12/remarks_of_senator_barack_obam_23.php

And I think I heard him say something similar in a recent speech when talking about the war, but couldn't find any transcripts.

However, he wasn't specific about who would be investigated, but I can't imagine any of the dem candidates are going to say anything about investigating Bush at this stage of the game. Well, except for the "fringe" candidates like Kucinich, Gravel, Paul, but you can see where that kind of talk got them.

which leads me to believe that the criminals will get away with it again, like they always do. I agree with the wisdom of waiting until they're all out of office, but I'm afraid that everyone will be so relieved to have them gone, they'll want to forget about them as soon as possible.
