Limbaugh Reacts to Obama Speech (and sounds a little like some DUers, to boot!)
http://marcambinder.theatlantic.com/archives/2008/03/rush_limbaugh_reacts.php

On his radio show, Rush Limbaugh said that Barack Obama was now "the candidate of race."

He said Obama "is not an agent of racial healing, he is a product of it."

He accuses of Obama of wanting to be the nation's racial-healer-in-chief, rather than its commander-in-chief.

Limbaugh can go there... I don't know if John McCain can, or will.

2. Yeah, this sounds more than a little desperate.
Unless you have some sort of serious derangement regarding Obama, you could find that speech moving.

So yeah, Rush and those DU'ers you referenced would apply.

3. Rush will do anything to tear down Barack. He prefers any Repub in the WH to any Dem.
That was why he wanted his listeners to vote for Hillary in the primaries, to sink a threat he perceived to be stronger.

5. I'm happy to hear some leadership on race and gender
I'm sure that some folks will cry that Clinton or Obama are playing the gender/race cards, but this is something that needs to be addressed. I hate the fact that discrimination has become the huge elephant in the room. No one can talk about it openly and honestly without being called a bigot. Good race relations don't happen because we ignore the problem and pretend that divisions don't exist. We should celebrate the differences we have as creating a vibrant and healthy mix of new ideas.

7. I don't think that happened today
A politician spoke about an issue (Wright's sermons) that may harm him in a political sense. It wasn't a leadership issue on race and gender. It wasn't FDR confronting enemies of the world. It was a man who made a speech he probably didn't want to. I agree wholeheartedly with your post. But we didn't get new ideas today we got a politician who wanted to get over a hurdle

6. The GOP/RW continues to shit its collective pants at the prospect
of Obama winning the Dem nomination. They simply don't know what to do with him. They have no valid way to fight him.

9. Rush, I don't know about the rest of
country, but your type of America is unhealthy, unhappy and sick. The sooner you seep back into oblivion, the better.

11. I'm going to contradict myself. I've seen posts here within the last couple of hours
that make Limbaugh into a poseur! There's some much worse stuff here.
