A lot of gullible Americans are being successfully manipulated by the RW talkers, and the story seems to be everywhere, but apparently some of the RW talk hosts and their listeners are whining that the so-called "liberal media" isn't covering it enough. I heard a caller on O'Reilly's show (he's usually on at work)whine about the "burying" of the story and said "It's not fair!!" If they want to talk fairness, why don't they put McCain's feet to the fire for his association with John Hagee and Rod Parsley?

What I liked about hearing this is that it means that, as much as this overblown story is all over the place thanks to the swiftboating by the RW talk show hosts, it apparently isn't getting coverage they were hoping for. If the media is going to talk about this, they need to spend at least as much time on Parsley and Hagee.

3. His favorability has been sliding from the start of the "kitchen sink" "mess him up" strategy
Negative attacks work -- ask John Kerry.

Remember how Bush in the WH? It was with the help of the Religiously insane Right. After Bush was in office they got everything they wanted. War with those Muslims to serve up a nice case of Crusades do-over. Christians cheered on war with "kill-'em-all-let-God-sort-it-out" mentality. Millions in "Faith Based" Social Programs $$$ most of which got scammed, misused or did not have the intended results. All those hate filled words against the poor dependent on Social programs, gays, other religions and non-believers. And now the words of Obama's Pastor (truthful in most respects) is seen as religious fervor that has no place in Religion. What a meme. How damned odd. My how manipulated things are when the overlords start narrating the story!

8. Well, I guess on a day when Wall Street is falling apart...
...some stories just take priority. The Bear Stearns story was much, much bigger.

I mean, does some preacher in Chicago really make or break my day when we're on the verge of another economic depression?

and I've probably heard more about this preacher bullshit than something much more important - How McLame killed a potential 50,000 jobs and outsourced our defense manufacturing:

9. I punished myself tonight and tuned in, just to see what the opposition was saying
Bill was shrill and desperate, as was Hannity &Co. It's funny, Bill's guests completely neutralized his points... Of course, BillO is not the type to accept defeat. Someone needs to gather up "the best of OReilly" quotes and just read one every time BillO rants about Wright.
